摘要: An electric vehicle lubricant formulation is provided that includes: a Group Il to V base oils, an oxidation inhibitor, and an anti-wear or extreme pressure additive. This formulation provides superior copper corrosion and extreme pressure at high temperatures and have an extremely low electrical conductivity and used oil foam than commercially available products.

(a) 40 to 150 ppm by weight in terms of nitrogen content of a corrosion inhibiting agent which is one or more compounds of formula (I):
and/or tribologically acceptable salts thereof, wherein in formula (I):
each R1 is independently a hydrocarbyl group comprising 1 to 10 carbon atoms,
x is 0 to 4, and
R2 is hydrogen or a hydrocarbyl group containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms;
(b) 1500 to 4000 ppm by weight of an ashless nitrogen-containing dispersant; and
(c) a major amount of a base oil.-

摘要: The rolling bearing of the present invention is lubricated with a lubricant composition which contains a fatty acid metal salt, a metal dithiocarbamate, a phosphorous-type additive, and a basic additive, and which has a total acid value of 3.7 mgKOH/g or more. The rolling bearing makes it possible to further improve anti-fretting performance, and to reduce a decrease in fretting resistance even when used under the circumstance that fluorine-type grease penetrates into the bearing using urea-type grease.

wherein Z is N or P, and R1, R2, R3, and R4 are independently selected from hydrogen atom and hydrocarbon groups having one to four carbon atoms with optional interconnection to form a cyclic group that includes Z, and wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 are all hydrocarbon groups when Z is P, and X− is a phosphorus-containing or carboxylate anion, particularly an organophosphate, organophosphonate, or organophosphinate anion, or a thio-substituted analog thereof containing hydrocarbon groups with at least three carbon atoms. Also described are lubricant compositions comprising the above ionic liquid and a base lubricant, wherein the ionic liquid is dissolved in the base lubricant. Further described are methods for applying the ionic liquid or lubricant composition onto a mechanical device for which lubrication is beneficial, with resulting improvement in friction reduction, wear rate, and/or corrosion inhibition.-

摘要: An axle oil composition having enhanced fuel efficiency and low viscosity is provided, wherein the axle oil composition contains 40 to 70 wt % of poly alpha olefin (PAO) synthetic oil; 5 to 35 wt % of an oil soluble poly alkylene glycol (OSP) synthetic oil; 15 to 20 wt % of an ester-based viscosity modifier; 0.05 to 0.5 wt % of calcite; and 5 to 20 wt % of additive, wherein the axle oil composition having enhanced fuel efficiency and low viscosity has average kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 11.5 to 13.5 cSt and average kinematic viscosity at 40° C. of 65 to 75 cSt and forms an oil film having a thickness of 85 to 96 nm even at low viscosity, largely improving durability and fuel efficiency of a vehicle.
