The cardiac pacemaker includes a cardiac pacemaker main body 100 having at least two electrodes for detecting cardio-information, a control section for performing a control by outputting pulses on the basis of the cardio-information, and a transmitting section for modulating the pulses and transmitting the modulated pulses. The pacemaker also has pacing electrode portion having a receiving section for receiving the transmitted pulses and stimulating electrodes activated by the pulses output from the receiving section.

A housing 14 forms, together with a cover 34, an annular vortex chamber 42. An impeller 22 is provided with a disk portion 24 which is connected to a drive shaft 12 so that the impeller 22 rotates integrally with the shaft 12. The impeller 22 has an annular support portion 26 and rows of angularly-spaced blade portions 28 and 30 arranged along the circumference of the impeller. The blade portions 28 and 30 are located in the vortex chamber 42. A seal portion is created between the impeller 22, the housing 14 and the cover 34, which seal portion is constructed by inner axial slits 72A and 72B formed between axially-spaced surfaces transverse to the axis of the shaft 12, radial slits 74A and 74B formed between radially spaced-apart cylindrical surfaces, and outer axial slits 76A and 76B formed between axially spaced-apart surfaces transverse to the axis of the shaft 12. The thickness of the radial slits 74A and 74B is smaller than a half of the thickness of at least one of the inner or outer axial slits, and the length of the radial slits 74A and 74B is between 2 mm and 5 mm.
Abstract:
A medical manipulator includes a surgical tool that has an end effector at a distal end and a drive unit that is detachable from a handle of the surgical tool. In a state where the drive unit is mounted on the handle, when a manipulation lever is manipulated, a driving force of a motor is transmitted to the handle, and the end effector is operated. Even in a state where the drive unit is detached from the handle, the surgical tool can be independently used by a manual manipulation.

A holding jig including, a tilt angle with respect to a plane of a holding surface of a holding target defined as a holding tilt angle: a first holding portion having a holding tilt face with the holding tilt angle; a second holding portion connected to the first holding portion so as to slide toward the holding tilt face along a plane substantially parallel to the holding surface; and an elastic holding portion provided at a position of the second holding portion facing the holding tilt face that is elastically deformed towards the holding surface by the holding tilt face while being abutted to the holding tilt face, when the second holding portion slides toward the holding tilt face, to press and hold the holding target.
Abstract:
A method of reducing a volatile organic compound of composite resin particles comprising the step of: blowing a gas from a bottom part of a container in order to fluidize composite resin particles containing a polyolefin-based resin and a polystyrene-based resin in the container until an amount of volatile organic compounds contained in the whole composite resin particles becomes 50 ppm or less, wherein the gas has a temperature of (T−40) to (T−10)° C. when a softening temperature of the composite resin particles is defined as T° C.
Abstract:
A game executer is operable to sequentially execute a plurality of racing games in which a plurality of racing members compete to each other. An instruction receiver is adapted to receive, from a player, a first instruction for causing a personal racing member prepared by the player to participate at least one of the racing games as one of the racing members, while being associated with a player identifier identifying the player. A processor is operable to increase a winning probability for the racing games of the personal racing member when it is executed, as one of the racing games, a first racing game in which the personal racing member satisfying a prescribed requirement participates. A prohibiter is operable to prohibit the personal racing member having participated the first racing game from participating the racing games executed subsequently to the first racing game.
Abstract:
A rotation angle detecting device includes a magnet (4), a magnetic substance unit (5), and a non-contact magnetic detection element (7). The magnet (4) rotates with an object to be measured and includes two ends magnetized so as to have opposite polarities. The magnetic substance unit (5) forms a predetermined air gap with the two ends of the magnet (4) and is divided into magnetic members (6) so as to provide plane symmetry with respect to a vertical plane perpendicularly crossing a rotational center axis of the magnet (4) to form a magnetic detection gap (9) by the division. The non-contact magnetic detection element (7) is provided in the magnetic detection gap (9) between the magnetic members (6) so as to output a signal corresponding to a density of a magnetic flux passing through the magnetic detection gap (9). The rotation angle of the object to be measured is detected based on the output signal from the magnetic detection element (7). The magnetic members (6) include reverse warp parts (34) so that the air gap suddenly increases when the magnet (4) rotates at a predetermined rotation angle from a state where the air gap is minimum in a direction in which the air gap increases.
Abstract:
A bias circuit which supplies a bias voltage to a first transistor comprises a second transistor formed on a same semiconductor substrate as the first transistor and having a control electrode and a first and a second main electrodes; a resistance circuit; and a first and a second level shifters. The second transistor is either a metal semiconductor field effect transistor or a high electron mobility transistor. One end of the resistance circuit is connected to a voltage supply, other end of the resistance circuit is connected to the first main electrode of the second transistor, the control electrode of the second transistor is connected to the second main electrode of the second transistor, the second main electrode of the second transistor is connected to a common voltage. A voltage at the first main electrode of the second transistor is divided by the first and second level shifters and the divided voltage is outputted as the bias voltage.
Abstract:
To a projection lens system is added spherical aberration of 0.1.lambda., and the exposure is performed by using a phase-shifting mask having a phase difference of 200 degrees which is provided with a phase error of 20 degrees corresponding to the spherical aberration amount. Therefore, the focus characteristic can be more remarkably flattened as compared with the prior art in which the phase difference of the mask is set to 180 degrees and the spherical aberration of the projection lens system is set to zero, so that the depth of focus can be enlarged by about 0.2 micron and the precision of the pattern dimension of semiconductor devices manufactured by using the exposure method can be enhanced.
Abstract:
In a halftone type phase shift photomask, a patterned halftone layer is formed on a transparent substrate, and a light screen layer is formed on the halftone layer. A part of a mask pattern is changed from opaque to halftone, thus improving the resist pattern fidelity.
