    摘要: A controller of a MIMO antenna apparatus calculates a current transmission capacity based on signal levels detected by a signal level detector circuit. The controller calculates an estimated transmission capacity assuming that at least one of antenna elements currently connected to a MIMO modulator and demodulator circuit is changed to a further antenna element not connected to the MIMO modulator and demodulator circuit, based on the detected signal levels and degrees of electromagnetic coupling stored in a degree-of-coupling memory. The controller controls a switch circuit to connect the further antenna element to the MIMO modulator and demodulator circuit when the current transmission capacity becomes lower than the estimated transmission capacity.

    摘要: An antenna element has a slit including a first portion and a second portion, the first portion extending in a first direction so as to separate first and second feed points from each other, and the second portion extending in a second direction different from the first direction. The slit is configured to resonate at an isolation frequency to produce isolation between the first and second feed points, and configured to form a current path around the slit. A current distribution along the current path generated by exciting through the first feed point is different from a current distribution along the current path generated by exciting through the second feed point, thus providing different radiation characteristics by the different current distributions.

    摘要: Even if a wire harness that passes a grommet is bent sharply, a vehicle body latch recess of the grommet is not deformed, thereby enhancing a sealing function. A grommet includes: an inner tube for passing electrical cables in said wire harness in a close contact manner; and an outer tube contiguous with an outer peripheral surface of said inner tube and provided with a slant wall section. The slant wall section of the outer tube is provided with a curved portion at an outer diametrical position having an outer diameter corresponding to an inner diameter of the through-hole. The curved portion has a different inclination angle from the slant wall section. An inclination angle of an outer peripheral surface of the slant wall section at a larger diameter side with respect to the curved portion is set to be smaller than an inclination angle at a smaller diameter side with respect to the curved portion. A larger thickness portion is contiguous with a larger diameter end of the slant wall in parallel to an axial direction of the inner tube. A vehicle body latch recess is provided in an annular manner in an outer peripheral surface of a boundary area between the larger diameter end of the slant wall section and the larger thickness portion. A part from an inner peripheral surface of the larger thickness portion to an inner peripheral surface corresponding to the curved portion of the slant wall section extends in parallel to the axial direction of the inner tube. The part has a larger thickness. The slant wall section is provided on an outer peripheral surface with a plurality of stepped projecting ribs that extend from a smaller diameter end of the slant wall section to the larger diameter end and are spaced apart from one another in a peripheral direction. In a first frequency band, respective resonances in the feeding elements occur independent of each other, by eliminating electromagnetic mutual coupling between the feeding elements, and exciting the first feeding element through the first feed point as well as exciting the second feeding element through the second feed point. In a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band, a loop antenna having a certain electrical length is formed by the first and second feeding elements and the first parasitic element, and a resonance of the loop antenna substantially occurs by exciting the first feeding element through the first feed point.
