Abstract:
A device with a respirator (1) and with a humidifier (11) for breathing gas. Breathing gas humidification is adapted to the different operating states of the respirator (1). A connection (13) is provided for bidirectional data transmission between the control and operating unit (8) of the respirator (1) and the control and operating unit (9) of the humidifier (11).
Abstract:
An axial piston machine, in particular to an air-conditioning compressor for motor vehicles, including a drive unit for taking-in and compressing a pressure medium The drive unit is rotatably driven by a shaft, the rotatable movement of the shaft is convertible into the reciprocating motion of the pistons in the drive unit and the shaft is mounted in the casing of the axial piston machine, in particular by an axial bearing.
Abstract:
A method for inking of pasty printing inks in an inking apparatus having an ink tray, an ink tray roller, a variable ink gap at the bottom of the ink tray, and an ink dosing element disposed along the ink tray roller, which comprises separating the amount of printing ink into a minimal amount of printing ink and a consumed amount of printing ink, disposing the minimal amount within the ink tray, and applying the consumed amount of printing ink to the ink tray roller through the ink dosing element.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for ink supply to ink trays in printing presses, whereby the printing press has for ink supply an ink tray, which is adjoined with an in ball cooperating with ink dosing elements. Task of the invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for zonal ink dosage according to the ink requirements and an extensive residue-free emptied ink tray at job end or job change. The task is solved according the invention by stopping the ink supply before the end of the printing job. This moment is determined so, that a minimum amount of ink sufficient for the to be processed product volume remains in the ink tray at the pre-determined job end and the ink is shifted from ink zones or ink zone groups with lesser ink consumption to ink zones or ink zone groups with momentarily higher ink consumption for processing of the remaining printing job.
Abstract:
Ink distribution to the transfer roller of a printing machine is rapidly influenced. The ink duct roller is driven at a maximum speed and the ink distribution roller is caused to rotate at the ink duct roller speed. The ink vibrator roller is brought ink continuous engagement with these two rollers and is brought out of contact with its oscillating drive mechanism. The ink fountain is closed and excess ink is conveyed back to it. The original speeds of the ink duct roller and the ink distribution roller are re-established and the oscillating drive of the vibrator roller is resumed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for simultaneous compressed visual representation of the data of three or more medically relevant parameters, wherein the data of the parameters are represented in a coordinate system with three or more dimensions, this coordinate system together with the data of the parameters represented therein is transformed into a two-dimensional coordinate system through a preset arithmetic rule and the result of this transformation is displayed in the display area of a display device, with the essential features of the data of at least one of the parameters being periodic over time. The invention further relates to a monitoring device wherein the inventive method is realized.
Abstract:
An image is produced in an image plane using a row of semiconductor laser emitters which provide a corresponding row of outlet spots as light sources. An optical projection system receives radiation from the outlet spots and the radiation on the image plane as one or more rows of images by virtue of the illumination of individual, adjacently located imaging spots. The optical projection system associates at least one outlet spot with each of the imaging spots, and simultaneously forms the image of the outlet spots of all of the semiconductor laser emitters of the row of light sources at the imaging spots associated therewith.
Abstract:
In order to improve a process for growing crystals from a molten zone which is heated and to which a source material is supplied which is melted and deposited in crystalline form on a substrate from the molten zone, such that dimensions of the substrate along an interface between the substrate and the molten zone are dependent to a lesser extent on dimensions of the source material supplied to the molten zone, it is suggested that the molten zone be mechanically stabilized by a wall member which forms a boundary of the molten zone and is essentially immovable relative to the molten zone, a base member which forms a lower boundary of the molten zone and is movable relative to the wall member and a meniscus arranged between the base member and the wall member.

Abstract:
A monitoring system and process is provided for at least two medical apparatuses, which can send at least one alarm signal each. At least one alarm unit is connected to these apparatuses, wherein the alarm unit has at least one processing unit, a memory unit and an output unit. The processing unit assigns priorities to the alarm signals, and an assignment list of the distribution of the priorities of the individual alarms is stored in the memory unit.
