    摘要: Novel aromatic imine polymers containing as at least a part of its entire recurring units an aromatic imino group ##STR1## wherein .phi. is an aromatic ring group having a valence of at least two and has at least one electron-attracting group with respect to the group ##STR2## and R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a non-aromatic hydrocarbon residue having a valence of at least 1. These polymers find a wide variety of applications by utilizing their thermal stability and various other desirable properties such as reducibility or photosensitivity. The polymers are prepared by reacting specific aromatic dihalogen compound with specific difunctional amino-containing compounds in an inert organic solvent in the presence of an acid acceptor. Copolymers can be obtained by carrying out the reaction using specific difunctional comonomers.

    摘要: The invention provides a process for producing solid electrolyte capacitors by forming a dielectric oxide film and a first cathode layer of solid conductive substance over the surface of an anode body of valve metal, and forming a second cathode layer of conductive high polymer on the first cathode layer by electrolytic oxidative polymerization. In forming the second cathode layer, the pH of the electrolyte to be used for electrolytic oxidative polymerization is maintained within a predetermined range by adding an acid or alkali to the electrolyte. Since the pH of the electrolyte remains substantially unaltered by the polymerization according to the invention, the electrolyte is repeatedly usable while permitting the resulting second cathode layers to retain the desired electric conductivity. The second cathode layer is formed by immersing in the electrolyte the anode body formed over the surface thereof with the oxide film and the first cathode layer, feeding a positive voltage with an external electrode piece in contact with the first cathode layer in the electrolyte, and shifting the feeding point at a predetermined time interval. The feeding point where the electrode piece is in contact with the first cathode layer for feeding shifts during the step of electrolytic oxidative polymerization, so that the thickness of the second cathode layer formed as centered about the feeding point is made uniform to the greatest possible extent over the entire anode body without increasing locally.

    摘要: A semipermeable composite membrane comprising a thin semipermeable film of a polymeric material deposited on one side of a microporous substrate, said polymeric material being prepared by crosslinking a soluble polymer containing at least 30 mole % of a recurring unit of the formula ##STR1## wherein all symbols are as defined in claim 1, and having at least 0.2 milliequivalent, per gram of said polymer, of an amino group containing 1 or 2 active hydrogen atoms, with a polyfunctional compound containing at least two functional groups capable of reacting with the amino group having 1 or 2 active hydrogen atoms; and a process for preparing the same. The semipermeable composite membrane of this invention is especially useful for desalination of saline or brackish water by reverse osmosis.

    摘要: A semipermeable composite membrane comprising a thin semipermeable film of a polymeric material deposited on one side of the microporous substrate, said polymeric material being prepared by interfacial crosslinking of a polymer containing a recurring unit of the formula ##STR1## wherein each of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and W.sub.1 represents a direct bonding or a sulfonyl group (--SO.sub.2 --), with a polyfunctional compound containing at least two functional groups selected from acid halide, sulfonyl halide, isocyanate, N-haloformyl, haloformate and acid anhydride groups; and a process for producing the same. The semipermeable composite membrane of this invention is especially useful for desalination of saline or brackish water by reverse osmosis.

    摘要: Novel substantially linear, or at least partially cross-linked, nitrogen-containing polymers having an aryleneimine or arylenether unit in the main chain with an amino group or a group derived from it being bonded as a pendant group to a nuclear carbon atom of the arylene group of the above unit. According to the number and type of the pendant groups, the polymers can have various useful properties such as thermal stability, hydrophilicity, oxidative reducibility, photosensitivity, color formability or the ability to form coordination bonds. Furthermore, the polymers have good solubility in aprotic polar organic solvents. Permselective membranes having good performance can be prepared from solutions of the polymers in these solvents.

    摘要: On a surface of an anode member 12 having a valve action, a cathode layer 14 is formed, and at a terminal lead-out face 12a at one end of the anode member 12, an anode wire 16 is led out of it; thus a capacitor element 10 is formed. An anode terminal 4 is joined to the anode wire 16. A cathode terminal 5 is joined to the cathode layer 14. A protective layer 2 of resin covers part or all of the capacitor element 10. A packaging member 3 of resin harder than the protective layer 2 covers around the capacitor element 10 including the protective layer 2 and the anode wire 16 to form a package. The protective layer 2 has a larger linear expansion coefficient than the packaging member 3. The mass ratio of the packaging member 3 to the total mass of the packaging member 3 and the protective layer 2 between the terminal lead-out face 12a and the exterior face of the packaging member 3 opposite the terminal lead-out face 12a is 50% or more.
