Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for supporting delay budget information in IMS systems. Requests for DBI are received by a first node, contained within a SIP message. This can be achieved by filling a feedback field within the signal with a delay budget indicator. The first node analyzes the received signal in order to determine whether DBI is being requested. Based on this analysis, a request signal is forwarded to a second node, which carries out resource reservation. The request signal can be based on a H.248:Add.req message. In this manner, DBI can be signaled and supported even without dedicated DBI messaging.

Abstract: This disclosure describes processes for real time protocol (RTP) data streaming. A process includes generating a plurality of codec bitstreams, each codec bitstream being configured to carry encoded information that includes one of occupancy map data, geometry data, or attribute data for a volumetric video. The process includes generating, for each codec bitstream of the plurality, a dedicated RTP stream, the dedicated RTP stream including a RTP payload format based on the respective codec bitstream for that RTP stream. The process includes multiplexing each dedicated RTP stream into a result RTP stream for the volumetric video.

Abstract: A multimedia telephony services over internet protocol (IP) multimedia subsystems (IMS) (MTSI) receiver operable to support region of interest (ROI) signaling with a MTSI sender is disclosed. The MTSI receiver can define a requested region of interest (ROI). The MTSI receiver can map the requested ROI to one or more pan, tilt, zoom and focus (PTZF) commands. The MTSI receiver can encode the one or more PTZF commands for transmission to the MTSI sender via real-time transport protocol (RTP) packets, wherein the one or more PTZF commands represent the requested ROI.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) operable to switch between a packet-switched streaming service (PSS) download session and a multimedia broadcast multicast services (MBMS) download session is described. The UE can send a session initiation protocol (SIP) re-invitation to a service control function (SCF) module during the PSS download session. The SIP re-invitation can include a request uniform resource identifier (URI) for an MBMS download session. The UE can receive a SIP acknowledgement from the SCF module. The SIP acknowledgement can indicate that the PSS download session has been terminated for the UE. The UE can switch from the PSS download session to the MBMS download session at the UE in response to the SIP acknowledgement being received at the UE.

Abstract: Devices, methods, user equipment (UE), network core devices, gateway devices, evolved node B (eNB), and storage media for UE provisioning are described. In one embodiment, a UE is configured for codec bitrate adaptation via an interface configured to receive a bandwidth indication and a codec awareness indication from an eNB. The UE process the bandwidth indication and identifies, based on the codec awareness indication, a first codec from a plurality of codecs supported by the UE. The UE then configures with the eNB using data encoded with the first codec. This data may, for example, be Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) data or other such media data. Selection of the codec or associated codec information may be further based on the codec awareness indication.
