Abstract: One example of a method includes receiving a plurality of video streams depicting a scene, wherein the plurality of video streams provides images of the scene from a plurality of different viewpoints, identifying a target that is present in the scene, wherein the target is identified based on a determination of a likelihood of being of interest to a viewer of the scene, determining a trajectory of the target through the plurality of video streams, wherein the determining is based in part on an automated visual analysis of the plurality of video streams, wherein the determining is based in part on a visual analysis of the plurality of video streams, rendering a volumetric video traversal that follows the target through the scene, wherein the rendering comprises compositing the plurality of video streams, receiving viewer feedback regarding the volumetric video traversal, and adjusting the rendering in response to the viewer feedback.

Abstract: A method for validating objects appearing in volumetric video presentations includes obtaining a volumetric video presentation depicting a scene, wherein the volumetric video presentation is associated with a metadata file containing identifying information for the scene, identifying user-generated content that depicts the scene, by matching metadata associated with the user-generated content to the metadata file associated with the volumetric video presentation, comparing a first object appearing in the volumetric video presentation to a corresponding second object appearing in the user-generated content, assigning a score to the first object based on the comparing, wherein the score indicates a probability that the first object has not been manipulated, and altering the volumetric video presentation to filter the first object from the volumetric video presentation when the score falls below a threshold.

Abstract: In one example, a method performed by a processing system in a telecommunications network includes acquiring live footage of a event, acquiring sensor data related to the event, wherein the sensor data is collected by a sensor positioned in a location at which the event occurs, extracting an analytical statistic related to a target participating in the event, wherein the extracting is based on content analysis of the live footage and the sensor data, filtering data relating to the target based on the analytical statistic to identify content of interest in the data, wherein the data comprises the live footage, the sensor data, and data relating to historical events that are similar to the event, and generating computer-generated content to present the content of interest, wherein when the computer-generated content is synchronized with the live footage on an immersive display, an augmented reality media is produced.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, systems and methods aggregating video content and adjusting the aggregate video content according to a training model. The adjusted aggregate video content comprises a first subset of the images and does not comprise a second subset of the images. The first subset of the images is determined by the training model based on a plurality of categories corresponding to a plurality of events. The illustrative embodiments also include presenting the adjusted aggregate video content and receiving identifications for the first subset of the images in the aggregate video content. Further, the illustrative embodiments include adjusting the training model according to the identifications and providing the adjusted training model to a network device. Other embodiments are disclosed.

The object quality values are based on portions of image data for the image. The object quality values include a blurriness value for each object and a color value for each object. The method includes accessing, via the image processing device, object category metrics associated with an object category. The object category metrics include a blurriness metric for each object and a color metric for each object. The method also includes performing, with the image processing device, a particular image processing operation for the image based on comparisons of the object quality values for each object to corresponding object category metrics.

Abstract: In one example, the present disclosure describes a device, computer-readable medium, and method for performing autonomous multi-pass data acquisition using unmanned aerial vehicle. For instance, in one example, a method includes obtaining a first set of sensor data collected by a fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles comprising at least one unmanned aerial vehicle, wherein the first set of sensor data depicts a target area at a first granularity, constructing a three-dimensional map of hierarchical unit representations of the first set of sensor data, sending a signal to the fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles to obtain a second set of sensor data at a second granularity that is finer than the first granularity, based at least in part on an examination of the three-dimensional map, and aggregating the second set of sensor data to form a high-resolution composite of the target area.
