Abstract: An architecture can dynamically update or set facility variables for adapting cell site (e.g., base station) characteristics in a wireless communication network. In particular, based upon a current configuration or state of facility equipment as well as various operation data, the architecture can determine or infer a reconfiguration of a facility variable that can adjust the configuration or state of the facility equipment. The reconfiguration can be directed to improving efficiency, mitigating errors, and/or more effectively providing services and allocating resources.

Abstract: A method includes creating a secured connection between a home network and a remote corporate network via a smart home gateway; detecting a plurality of devices are connected with the smart home gateway, wherein the plurality of devices are within the home network; determining that a first device of the plurality of devices is indicated as an authorized corporate device; determining that the first device has software updated to a threshold version of software; and based on the indication that the first device is an authorized corporate device or the first device has software update to the threshold version of software, automatically connecting the first device to the remote corporate network.

Abstract: Systems and methods that utilize femtocell access points (FAP) to perform radio frequency (RF) network sweeps are provided. In one embodiment, a method includes: predicting an availability of an access point (AP) to perform an RF network sweep; and determining that the access point is available to perform the RF network sweep based, at least, on a prediction that a mobile device on a white list for the access point is not likely to access the access point during a time interval associated with performing the RF network sweep. In another embodiment, a method includes: comparing a network quality characteristic for a wireless channel associated with a FAP with a network quality characteristic for a wired network communicatively coupled to the FAP. The network quality characteristics can be the same. The method can then include employing the comparison to determine to which network an impairment is attributable.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a first data stream including first media content. The first data stream corresponds to a first channel. The method further includes detecting a channel change request from the first channel to a second channel. The method also includes storing user history data at a media device. The user history data indicates a portion of the first media content that had been received when the channel change request was detected. The method includes providing, to a display device, second media content of a received second data stream corresponding to the second channel. The method further includes, in response to detecting a second channel change request to return to the first channel, providing to a display device, the first media content of the first data stream beginning from a location of the first media content indicated by the user history data.
