摘要： This invention has as its object to improve the convenience of a client user when the client establishes communication connection to a server which can improve resources in session management. To this end, in an information processing method according to this invention, a client, which can request a predetermined process to a server via an application while communication connection with the server is established, identifies a field on a display, to which an operation has been made by an input device, generates a dummy request, which includes information required to maintain communication connection, or a request, which includes information required to maintain communication connection and a predetermined processing request, in accordance with the identified field, and transmits the generated request to the server. Even when a predetermined processing request is not made to the server, the client can maintain communications with the server if some operation is made.

In response to an operation for deleting an image positioned in a page, such image is not added to another page but is moved to and displayed in an evacuation area provided independently from the page area. In the evacuation area, such image is displayed together with a serial number of the page in which such image was present originally. Thus the page layout is not destructed in pages other than the page of image deletion, and the user can easily confirm later the image existed in such page.

摘要： This invention provides a service which allows the user of the client apparatus that submits a print request to preview an image to be printed, and can reduce the information volume with the client apparatus to achieve quick response, and prints a high-quality image with the requested size. For this purpose, a center server (102) on the network stores and manages display image data, and transfers requested display image data upon receiving a request from a client computer. Upon receiving a request including a print size from the client computer, the center server sends the print size and information that specifies an image to an image server which saves high-resolution images. Upon receiving the information, the image server processes high-resolution image data to have the designated size, and sends back the processed image data to the center server. The center server sends the received image data to a print server to make it print the data.

This image display device can further include a projection lens for projecting and displaying images formed in the display element on a screen.

In the client, information on an available capacity of the data storage area is obtained. Then a difference value between the total size of currently selected files and the obtained available capacity of the data storage area is calculated. The result of calculation is displayed on the GUI.
