    摘要: A device for supporting an overhang type slidable pinion shaft of an electric motor for starting an engine comprises a bearing for supporting the pinion shaft, the bearing including an inner ring having a groove provided in its inner peripheral surface. Accordingly, it is possible to secure grease or oil in the groove provided in the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring of the bearing and it is therefore possible to minimize the boundary friction occurring between the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring of the bearing and the sliding surface of the pinion shaft and, at the same time, enable the pinion shaft to slide even more smoothly.

    摘要: In an electric starter motor, a planetary reduction assembly includes: a sun gear engraved in an outer circumferential portion on a front side of a motor output shaft formed integrally with the armature; a ring formed into a cylindrical shape with a rotation stop projecting on an outer circumferential wall surface thereof and coupled to a front bracket while its movement in the circumferential direction is restricted by the rotation stop; an internal gear formed into a bottomed cylindrical shape with a center hole formed in a central portion of a bottom thereof and an inner circumferential gear portion engraved in an inner circumferential wall surface thereof, the internal gear being fitted in the ring so as to open on a rear side; a discoid flange portion formed integrally with an end portion on the rear side of the starter output shaft, supported rotatably to the bottom of the internal gear through a bearing and rotatably supporting an end portion on the front side of the motor output shaft through a bearing; and a plurality of planetary gears rotatably supported to a plurality of pins implanted concentrically at an equiangular pitch on an end face on the rear side of the flange portion, respectively, and engaging with the inner circumferential gear portion and the sun gear, and wherein the internal gear is fitted in the ring so as to slidingly rotate relative to the ring when a rotational torque to be applied to the starter output shaft exceeds a predetermined transmission rotational torque.

    摘要: A process for desulfurization and denitration of waste gas by multi-stage electron beam irradiation and an apparatus used for the process are constituted so that the waste gas is passed through the electron beam irradiation zones in multiple irradiation chambers that are arranged in such a way that the center-to-center distance (m) between two neighboring electron beam generators is not shorter than distance X calculated by the formula, X=2.alpha.+tV wherein 2.alpha. means distance over which an absorbed dose extends into a waster gas, t means a residence time (sec.) of waste gas in a non-irradiation zone, and V stands for the flow velocity of waste gas, whereby t can be reduced to 0.01-0.5 seconds, so that irradiated energy can be utilized efficiently and a maximum effect can be obtained with a minimum expenditure of irradiation energy. Therefore, the waste gas can be treated rapidly and economically.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an electron beam-irradiating reaction apparatus for irradiating a desired object to be treated, such as an exhaust gas, with an electron beam. Conventionally, a scanning tube of an electron beam irradiation device and a reaction device-for receiving the electron beam are rigidly connected. Therefore, excessive stress is applied to a connecting portion between the scanning tube and the reaction device and not only leakage of gas from the connecting portion, but also breakage of a metal window foil provided at an end portion of the scanning tube are likely to occur. In the present invention, to solve such problems, a flexible hermetic sealing member 23 is provided between a portion around the end portion of the scanning tube 12 and a peripheral edge 18a of an electron beam receiving window in a side wall of an electron beam reaction device 18.
