摘要： An apparatus and method for separating animal waste from litter are provided. In one form, the apparatus includes a drum that contains litter and a helical rake that is rotatable in the drum. The rake can rotate relative to the drum to reduce power requirements for the rotary rake drive. Preferably, the drum is also rotatable by turning of the rake in the drum, but only for a limited, fixed angular distance which also reduces peak power requirements for the rotary drive motor for the rake.

摘要： A clip-on light apparatus is provided having a polyaxial coupling joint between a light module and frame to permit the light module to be pivoted about a plurality of axes relative to the frame for directing light in a plurality of directions. The polyaxial coupling joint preferably permits pivoting of the light module about at least two orthogonal axes. In one form, the light module is mounted to a pivot shaft about which the module can be turned with the pivot shaft itself being pivoted along one of the two orthogonal pivot axes.

摘要： Lighted reading glasses are provided to enable clear reading of normal sized text to occur when the reading material is held at usual distances from the reader in poorly lit locations. The lighted glasses have high intensity lights, such as in the form of LEDs that generate narrow light beams cones and which are oriented in light modules to inwardly cant the light beam cones to meet and overlap so high brightness light is generated in a conical overlap area of light which is maximized in size in the range of normal reading distances. In another form, a clip-on light apparatus is provided that includes a spacer frame having opposite end portions each mounting lights, preferably constructed as described above. In one form, retainers at the end portions are adapted to releasably engage outer sides of the eyeglass lenses. The frame preferably incorporates a draw spring assembly to allow adjustments for different size glasses. In another form, the light spacing is fixed and a clipping mechanism is provided for clipping to the eyeglasses in the area generally between the eyeglasses lenses.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a pneumatic toy gun which may include a cylinder having an open end and an outlet, a piston disposed within the open end of the cylinder, and a valve having a valve inlet and a discharge outlet. The valve may have a normal position wherein the discharge outlet is sealed to prevent the flow of air through the discharge outlet, and an open position wherein the discharge outlet is unsealed to permit the flow of air through the discharge outlet, with the outlet of the cylinder being in fluid communication with the valve inlet. The pneumatic toy gun may further include a pressure gauge in fluid communication with the outlet of the cylinder and the valve inlet, with the pressure gauge having a cavity with a fluid disposed therein, and the cavity having a transparent portion through which the fluid is visible. Movement of the piston within the cylinder compresses air in the cylinder and the valve to increase the air pressure therein, and the amount of the fluid visible through the transparent portion of the pressure gauge may be proportional to the air pressure in the cylinder and the valve.

摘要： Lighted headgear is provided to enable clear vision in poorly lit locations. The lighted headgear has lights, such as LEDs that generate narrow light beam cones. The headgear is preferably a baseball-type hat with the LEDs secured in small notches in the forward edge of the brim, or in light modules attached toward the brim forward edge. The lights can be similarly provided with a variety of other headgear types including rigid safety hats and rigid fire fighters helmets to name a few. In one form, the lights are positioned so that their respective light beam cones overlap to provide high brightness light in a conical overlap area that can be in the range of normal reading distances or at other distances depending on the intended use of the hat.
