    摘要： A system for locking a door can: (1) lock the door in dead bolt fashion, (2) allow the door to open a limited distance, or (3) allow the door to open freely. The system has a door-mounted latch assembly that includes a base plate, an intermediate link pivoted to the base plate, and a mode selection and latching assembly that is pivoted to the intermediate link. The latch assembly also includes a high strength, "T"-shaped latch member, and camming means to slide the latch member back and forth as a control knob is rotated. A latch plate is mounted on the door frame in juxtaposition to the door-mounted latch assembly. The latch plate has a cylindrical portion with a vertical slot for receiving the "T"-shaped latch member. A cylindrical sleeve fits inside the cylindrical portion of the latch plate. Like the cylindrical portion of the latch plate, the sleeve has a vertical slot for receiving the latch member. The sleeve also has a horizontal slot running perpendicular to and intersecting with the vertical slot. When the latch member is engaged in the cylindrical portion of the latch plate, the cylindrical sleeve can be rotated so that the latch member is engaged with the horizontal slot in the cylindrical sleeve. The latch member then cannot be directly withdrawn from the latch plate.

    摘要： A portable, fold-up sports chair includes fabric seat and back portions, attached to and extending between a lightweight, collapsible tubular frame. The transverse frame members are hinged to allow the chair to be folded into a compact bundle for transportation or storage. Straps attached to the underside of the legs help prevent the chair legs from penetrating or sinking when used on a soft surface such as sand. The angle of the seat back is adjustable by means of straps which also serve as arm rests when the chair is in use.

    摘要： An optical film reader for projecting and enlarging micro copy information recorded in rollfiche format on rolls of photographic film or the like which provides a film transport mechanism enabling rapid manual scanning of the enclosed rollfiche strip in both directions, with instantaneous reversal of the scanning direction without backlash in the film drive. A low glare, high contrast viewing screen is mounted at 45.degree. to the vertical and placed low at the front of the unit perpendicular to the viewer's line of sight. Movable projection optics are provided for scanning of rollfiche microcopy which is wider than that projectable on a fixed sized screen at one given time at a given magnification ratio; the movable projection optics allow projection of the micro copy data or eye-readable index area of the rollfiche by means of a single scanning lever.

    摘要： A two step pressure intensifier adapted for use as a clamp or a via including a housing cylinder which sealingly houses a telescoping cylinder. The telescoping cylinder is extended rapidly outward by application of low pressure to hydraulic fluid within the telescoping cylinder. Upon meeting resistance, the extension speed of the telescoping cylinder is slowed down and high presssure is applied.The use of a small diameter force input rod or piston is encompassed by a close fitting input portion of the telescoping piston so that the two pistons move together during a portion of both their force and retraction strokes.
