摘要: Methods and devices controlling association and/or authentication of wireless devices. At a first wireless device which is unassociated and unauthenticated with a second device, a state variable representing the second device may be stored, where the variable indicates that the second device is unassociated and unauthenticated with the first device. A message may be received from the second device requesting to associate. The variable may be changed to indicate that the second device is associated and unauthenticated. A message may be received from the second device requesting to authenticate, and the state variable may be changed to indicate that the second device is authenticated. In some cases, a wireless device stores variable(s) representing a second device, the variables indicating that the second device is unassociated and unauthenticated, receives a message from the second device requesting authentication, and changes a state variable to indicate that the second device is authenticated.

摘要: Briefly, a wireless communication system that includes an Initiator and a Responder to transmit an aggregation of data units in a reverse direction is provided. The Initiator includes a medium access controller capable of allocating a time slot for exchanging one or more transmissions of aggregation of data units with the Responder. The medium access controller includes a channel access scheme, which is able to allocate the time slot for the Responder to transmit the aggregation of data units in the reverse direction, and to grant Originator rights of the Initiator to the Responder within said time slot.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, apparatus and system of radar detection. The method, according to some demonstrative embodiments of the invention, may include comparing an energy level of signals received over a wireless communication channel to a threshold; during operation of a processor, if the energy level is above the threshold, determining independently of the processor one or more time values related to said signals; and if the energy level decreases to or below the threshold, interrupting the operation of the processor to determine, based on the time values, one or more parameters of a detection time period during which the energy level was above the threshold. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要: Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA) and method for channel access are generally described herein. The AP may contend for access to a channel. The contention may be performed in accordance with an omni-directional enhanced distributed channel access function (EDCAF) for transmission within an omni-directional pattern. The contention may be further performed in accordance with a directional EDCAF for transmission to a station (STA) in a directional pattern. The AP may determine whether to transmit within the omni-directional pattern based at least partly on an omni-directional backoff parameter. The AP may further determine whether to transmit in the directional pattern based at least partly on a directional backoff parameter.

摘要: Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatuses, systems and/or methods of setting transmit slots in a wireless communication network. For example, an apparatus may include a scheduler to set a suggested start time of a first transmit slot to transmit over a wireless communication medium, and, if a start of a medium free time for the wireless communication medium is after the suggested start time, to shift the suggested start time to a shifted start time that coincides with the start of the medium free time, and to set a suggested start time of a second transmit slot based on the shifted start time.

摘要: Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatuses, systems, devices and/or methods of wireless communication during a power save state. For example, a wireless network interface may be configured to interface between a wireless communication device and a wireless network. The wireless network interface may include a controller to receive an indication of a power save state of the wireless communication device, and to generate an Information Element (IE) including Transmit (Tx) filter setup information defining allowed frames, which are allowed to be transmitted to the wireless communication device during the power save state; and a transmitter to transmit the IE via the wireless network.

摘要: Logic may allocate time slots in a schedule with consideration of thermal dissipation capacities of non-PCP devices. Logic may determine the failure to use a full time slot allocation by a non-PCP device when the non-PCP device has more data to transmit. Logic may determine an adjustment for a schedule based upon duty cycle information provided by a non-PCP device. Logic may receive an indication of a duty cycle. Logic may determine an adjustment to a schedule based upon entrance of the non-PCP device into a power save mode during an incomplete communication with time remaining in the allocated time slot. Logic may determine a duty cycle based upon a thermal measurement. Logic may request a reduced duty cycle based upon a risk of reaching an overheat limit for a non-PCP device. And logic may request an increase in the duty cycle in response to favorable thermal characteristics.
