    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure relate to a glass article. The glass article includes a glass sheet having a first major surface and a second major surface. The second major surface is opposite to the first major surface. The glass article also includes a frame made of a plastic material. The plastic material has a coefficient of thermal expansion (a) having units of ppm/° C. The glass article further includes an adhesive bonding the second major surface of the glass sheet to the frame. The adhesive has a shear modulus (G) having units of MPa. The plastic material of the frame and the adhesive are selected such that G≤500,000 α−3.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method to strength test porous ceramic honeycomb bodies. The apparatus includes an interlayer between at least one platen and a surface of the high porosity honeycomb body to be tested. The method includes disposing at least one interlayer between at least one platen and an end face of the body, applying a force to the high porosity ceramic honeycomb body and monitoring a result of applying the force. The interlayer comprises a surface weight of about 350 g/m2 and a thickness in a direction N between facing surfaces load platens of at least about 20 mm. Axial and radial localized stamping tests also strength test porous ceramic honeycomb bodies.

    Abstract: A method of performing a reaction is disclosed comprising flowing a reaction mixture (50) comprising HF past a compression seal (40) within a flow reactor (20), wherein the compression seal (40) includes an O-ring or gasket (30, 32) and where the O-ring or gasket (30, 32) comprises fluoroelastomer (to include fluoroelastomers and perfluoroelastomers), while maintaining the reaction mixture comprising HF at a temperature of 50° C. or greater [generally at a temperature in the range of from 50° C. and greater (60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 120, 150, and 180° C.) up to 220° C.], using O-rings or gaskets (30, 32) that comprise a fluoroelastomer having a pre-use tensile strength in the range of from 0.1 to 14 MPa measured according to IS037, and desirably further having a compressive set in the range of from 0 to 12% measured according to IS0815.

In one or more embodiments, the system includes a display, a dynamically bendable cover substrate assembly disposed over the display, wherein the cover substrate assembly comprises a cover substrate with a bend axis, and a reversible support attached to at least a portion the cover substrate that dynamically bends the cover substrate along the bend axis in a cycle from a first radius of curvature to a second radius of curvature and from the second radius of curvature to the first radius of curvature. In one or more embodiments, the system includes one or more frames that partially house the display and are attached to the cover substrate.
