Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing barber scissors, wherein the scissor blades are pre-shaped from blanks by a predetermined degree of curvature in the direction facing away from the edge. This is followed by a step of welding on a hard metal material in the form of a welding bead on respective mutually facing faces of the scissor blades in order to form the edges, wherein the preliminary curvature of the scissor blades is neutralized owing to the influence of heat during the welding process. Subsequently the welding beads are ground so as to form the edges, and the scissor halves are pre-set and hardened. Then the barber scissors are hard-set in the assembled condition. The invention furthermore relates to barber scissors having such a configuration. Here the edges are present as massive material over the entire thickness of the scissor blades, so that even severally repeated re-grinding or re-setting of the barber scissors is possible without any loss of functionality.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an installation and a process for the production of foam in a continuous block foam process in which the height of a foam-forming mixture along a conveyor is measured and a correcting variable as a function of deviation of the actual height risen from the standard height is determined.
Abstract:
Adjustable assembly of a first structural part and a second structural part, in particular for automobiles having a flap and a pivotable arm for the flap, including the following features: the first structural part is displaceable along two orthogonal axis with respect to the second structural part and is approximately fixedly secured against movement along a third axis extending perpendicular to the first and second axis a first adjusting element is moveably supported on the second structural part, an actuation of the first adjustable element moves the first structural part along the first axis a second adjustable element being movably supported on the second structural part, an actuation of the second adjustable element moves the first structural part along the second axis and means are associated with the first and second adjustable element for releasable fixation thereof.
Abstract:
A neck rest retraction device comprises a neck rest rod having stop notches engageable with a locking member, and an elongated actuator having a plurality of detent recesses formed thereon to be engaged with a detent member carried by an lower end of the neck rest rod. The gauge of the detent recesses corresponds to that of the stop notches. An original position of the neck rest rod, defined by engagement of the locking member with one of the stop notches, is thus memorized by engagement of the detent member with the corresponding detent recess when the actuator is forced to move downwardly. The original position of the neck rest rod is automatically restored in accordance with disengagement of the detent member from the corresponding detent recess when the actuator is released to move upwardly.
Abstract:
A seat comprising side uprights (110, 110′), a seat (120) and a back (130). It also includes a primary interlocking system (111, 111′) to attach the side uprights in a roughly perpendicular fashion to the seat, a second interlocking system (122) to attach the seat in a roughly perpendicular fashion to the back, a wedge system (150) positioned between the back and the side uprights, and fasteners to lock the wedge system to the back and side uprights. Once the seat, uprights and back are interlocked, the whole assembly is held together by assembling the wedge system and fixing it in position using the fasteners.
Abstract:
A reel for cable and the like has a tubular core portion having opposite open ends and a hollow interior formed with reinforcing ribs. A pair of end flanges is provided, each having a radially inner annular flange portion which is cupped so as to a have an open side facing axially inwardly of the core portion and which is, in part, received in one of the open ends, and a radially outer annular flange portion which is cupped so as to have an open side facing axially of the core portion and which has an outer circumferential edge face. Connecting portions connect the end flanges to the core portion.
Abstract:
An actuation device including, a housing, a pusher supported in the housing, a spring in the housing, which biases the pusher out of the housing, a ring surrounding the pusher over a part of its axial moving range, at least one groove extending on the outside of the pusher at least in sections helically about the longitudinal axis of the pusher, a first diverting surface on the pusher between the groove and the inner actuation end, at least one locking recess on the pusher in circumferential distance to the at least one first diverting surface and being opened towards the outer actuation end, at least one second diverting surface between the locking recess and the groove, which extends obliquely with regard to the axis of the pusher, and which second diverting surface engages with the at least one projection of the ring under certain conditions.
Abstract:
An adjustable assembly of a first structural part and a second structural part, in particular for automobiles having a flap and a pivotable arm for the flap, is such that the first structural part is displaceable along two orthogonal axis with respect to the second structural part and is fixed against movement along a third axis extending perpendicular to the first and second axis. A first adjusting element is moveably supported on the second structural part. Actuation of this first adjustable element moves the first structural part along the first axis. A second adjustable element is movably supported on the second structural part. Actuation of the second adjustable element moves the first structural part along the second axis. Devices are associated with the first and second adjustable elements for releasable fixation thereof in selected positions.
Abstract:
A fuel door housing for the fueling of an automobile including a tub-like body, a flap which is hingely linked to the body, a thrust spring biasing the flap toward an opened position, a locking element having a locking and an unlocking position, and an actuating element for placing the locking element into the unlocking position. The locking element is moved towards the unlocking position through a one-way transmission of the actuating element upon a movement of the flap into its closed position or beyond thereof, respectively, and the locking element completely engages the catching element upon arrival of the flap at its closed position. A casing is formed at the inner side of the body. The locking element and parts of the actuating elements are accommodated by the casing, and a locking portion of the locking element is sealingly extended through a wall portion of the casing facing the catching element.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for the production of a polyurethane foam, comprising the reaction of a polyisocyanate and a polyol in the presence of a blowing agent and of particles. These particles are obtained by reacting carrier particles with a functionalising reagent G, wherein G contains reactive groups G1 by means of which G can be chemically bonded to the surface of the carrier particles, and wherein G additionally contains reactive groups G2 which, under the conditions of the polyurethane foam production, are reactive towards the NCO groups of the polyisocyanate, or towards the OH groups of the polyol, or both, and wherein G1 and G2 may be the same or different. The present invention relates also to a polyurethane foam obtained by this process and to products containing such a polyurethane foam. The present invention relates also to a composition containing a polyol and these particles. The present invention relates also to a composition containing a polyisocyanate and these particles. Both the mentioned compositions can be used to produce a polyurethane foam according to the invention.
