    Abstract: The present application provides a lithium-ion battery and an apparatus, the lithium-ion battery includes an electrode assembly and an electrolytic solution, and the electrode assembly includes a positive electrode sheet, a negative electrode sheet, and a separation film. A positive electrode active material in the positive electrode sheet includes Lix1Coy1M1-y1O2-z1Qz1, and the positive electrode active material is a mixture of large particles Lix1Coy1M1-y1O2-z1Qz1 and small particles Lix1Coy1M1-y1O2-z1Qz1; an average particle size D50 of the large particles Lix1Coy1M1-y1O2-z1Qz1 is 10 μm-17 μm, and an average particle size D50 of the small particles Lix1Coy1M1-y1O2-z1Qz1 is 2 μm-7 μm. The electrolytic solution contains an additive A that is a polynitrile six-membered nitrogen-heterocyclic compound with a relatively low oxidation potential. The lithium-ion battery has superb cycle performance and storage performance, especially under high-temperature and high-voltage conditions.

    Abstract: A battery is provided in the present disclosure. The battery includes: a positive electrode plate including a positive current collector and a positive active material layer; a negative electrode plate including a positive current collector and a negative active material layer; and an electrolyte. The positive current collector includes an insulation layer used to support a conductive layer and the conductive layer used to support the positive active material layer and located above at least one surface of the insulation layer. The conductive layer has a thickness of D2 which satisfies: 300 nm≤D2≤2 μm. A protective layer is arranged on at least one surface of the conductive layer. The negative current collector is a copper foil current collector having a thickness of 1 μm to 5.9 μm.

    Abstract: Provided are a current collector, an electrode plate, a battery and an application of the current collector. The current collector includes an insulation layer and a conductive layer. The insulation layer is configured to bear the conductive layer, the conductive layer is configured to bear an electrode active material layer. A room temperature film resistance RS of the conductive layer meets a conditional expression: 0.016Ω/□≤RS≤420Ω/□. By the current collector of the present application, the short circuit resistance of the battery in case of an abnormal situation causing the short circuit can be greatly increased, and the short circuit current can be greatly reduced. Thus, influence of the short circuit damage on the battery is limited to a point range, and an interrupt in the current only occurs in a point range, without disrupting normal operation of the battery in a certain period time.
