Abstract: In a dynamic wireless power transfer system, a power transmission coil is provided in a road. A power transmission circuit supplies electric power to the power transmission coil. A power reception coil is provided in a vehicle. A power reception circuit is connected to the power reception coil. A relay circuit is provided in a tire of the vehicle. The relay circuit includes at least two relay coils that are connected in series. The relay circuit transfers electric power from the power transmission coil to the power reception coil by one relay coil of the two relay coils opposing the power transmission coil and the other relay coil opposing the power reception coil. A resonance frequency of the relay circuit is a frequency that is within a fixed range that is centered on an applied frequency of an alternating-current voltage that is applied to the power transmission coil.

Abstract: A non-contact power supply device includes: a power transmission coil that generates a magnetic flux by an alternating current; a power transmission circuit that supplies the alternating current to the power transmission coil; a power transmission side control circuit that controls the power transmission circuit; a power receiving coil that generates an alternating current by interlinking the magnetic flux generated in the power transmission coil; and a power receiving circuit that converts the alternating current supplied from the power receiving coil into a direct current, and supplies the direct current to the power supply target. The power transmission side control circuit obtains a voltage vector target value based on a relationship between a voltage vector and a current vector, and controls the power transmission circuit to set the voltage vector of the alternating current output from the power transmission circuit to be the voltage vector target value.

Abstract: A contactless power supply system includes: a power supply pad including a power supply core formed of a magnetic material, and a power supply coil that uses the power supply core as a magnetic path; and a filter circuit including an inductor coil, the filter circuit being connected to the power supply pad. The power supply pads to which the respective filter circuits are connected are brought into a face-to-face relation so that electric power is transmitted from one power supply pad to the other power supply pad in a contactless manner. An inductor coil of at least either one of the filter circuits is provided to the power supply core of the power supply pad to which the filter circuit is connected, and the inductor coil uses the power supply core as a magnetic path.

Abstract: A power conversion device has a main switch connected to a positive electrode side line of a battery, at least one semiconductor power element connected between the main switch and a negative electrode voltage line, and an auxiliary circuit having an auxiliary switch, a resonance reactor and an auxiliary diode connected parallel to the main switch. The device further has a voltage detection part which detects an external side voltage of the main switch and a control circuit part performing a switching control of the main switch and the auxiliary switch based on the detection result of the voltage detection part. During the turned-off state of the main switch, the control circuit part turns off the auxiliary switch before the external side voltage of the main switch reaches an input voltage of the main switch. This external side voltage starts to increase when the auxiliary switch is turned on.

Abstract: A wireless power transmission system is provided which wirelessly transfer electric power from a power transmitter to a power receiver. The wireless power transmission system works to set a capacitance of a primary capacitor of a primary resonant circuit to undergo resonance with a self-inductance of a primary coil at an angular frequency that is an operating frequency. A tertiary capacitor of a tertiary resonant circuit has a capacitance set to undergo resonance with a self-inductance of a tertiary coil. A secondary capacitor of a secondary resonant circuit has a capacitance set to reduce a reactive component of ac power arising from self-inductances and mutual inductances of the primary coil, the secondary coil, and the tertiary coil.

Abstract: In an in-motion power supply system with a plurality of power supply segments to supply power to a vehicle, a vehicle position detection unit detects a position of the vehicle relative to each segment. An electrical characteristic acquisition unit acquires electrical characteristics in the segment involved in power transfer, and an abnormality determination unit uses the electrical characteristics to determine whether there is an abnormality in the segment involved in power transfer. The abnormality determination unit shares the electrical characteristics between a subject segment subjected to abnormality determination and at least one of a previous segment previous to the subject segment and a subsequent segment subsequent to the subject segment, and compares the electrical characteristics in the subject segment with at least either the electrical characteristics in the previous segment or the electrical characteristics in the subsequent segment to determine whether the electrical characteristics in the subject segment are abnormal.

Abstract: In a power converter, a first electrical path connects between the series resonant circuit and a selected terminal from the high- and low-side input and output terminals of the power converter. An auxiliary diode is provided on one of the series resonant circuit and the first electrical path. An auxiliary switch, when turned on, causes an inductor current to flow through the auxiliary diode to the resonance inductor, thus storing electromagnetic energy into the resonance inductor, and causes the resonance inductor and the capacitance component of the series resonant circuit to resonate with each other. A second electrical path bypasses the auxiliary switch for flow of the inductor current. A discharge unit is provided on the second electrical path. The discharge unit is activated to discharge the electromagnetic energy stored in the resonance inductor via the second electrical path.
