    摘要: An improved probabilistic lane assignment method for detected objects in the scene forward of a host vehicle. Road/lane model parameters, preferably including an angular orientation of the host vehicle in its lane, are estimated from host vehicle sensor systems, taking into account measurement uncertainty in each of the constituent parameters. A probabilistic assignment of the object's lane is then assessed based on the road/lane model parameters and object measurements, again taking into account measurement uncertainty in both the road/lane model and object measurements. According to a first embodiment, the probabilistic assignment is discrete in nature, indicating a confidence or degree-of-belief that the detected object resides in each of a number of lanes. According to a second embodiment, the probabilistic assignment is continuous in nature, providing a lateral separation distance between the host vehicle and the object, and a confidence or degree-of-belief in the lateral separation distance.

    摘要: A logic device for performing a plurality of logic functions employs a plurality of logic elements interconnected by a plurality of switching boxes. A set of configuration bits are provided to the logic. The configuration bits represent a logic circuit that has been partitioned into two or more contexts. A subset of the configuration bits representing the portion of the logic circuit to be performed is selected by a number of context input lines. Operand bits are also provided to the logic element. By using virtualization registers, the output of a logic element in one context can be used as an input in another context. The output for a logic function is selected by the operands and stored in a register bank in such a way that it may later be retrieved by the context number it is associated with.

    摘要: Data is reformatted in a memory external to the processing elements of a processing array, relieving the processing array of this task and allowing it to perform its data processing functions more efficiently. Data is transferred to or from the multi-channel memory in a wordstream format, with individual data words mapped into the proper memory channels and the proper addresses within each channel in a matrix format. The invention is applicable to two-dimensional reformatting for data transfers between an input/output port and the memory, and to one-dimensional reformatting for data transfers between the processing array and either the memory or the input/output port. Logic circuitry within each channel selects the proper data words for that channel from a wordstream, and the associated address for each selected word, according to the respective positions of the data words in the wordstream. Data words are assigned to memory channels and to addresses within those channels based upon programmable format specifiers.
