Abstract:
An implantable seizure monitor can include at least one sensing electrode and an electronics module configured to detect, record and/or log neurological events. For example, the electronics module can be configured to detect brainwaves indicative of seizures, such as, for example, epileptic seizures, and to create a log indicating when such seizures occur. The implantable seizure monitor can include a cushioning member made of a soft material and configured to be implantable between the epidermis and cranium of a patient.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a system and method for recommending templates for electronic or online photo albums. In general, digital images are selected to form a photo album. The metadata associated with the digital images is analyzed to provide selection criteria. Using the selection criteria, one or more templates are selected from a template database as recommended templates. One of the recommended templates is selected and applied to the photo album.
Abstract:
An apparatus, a method, and a computer program are provided for distinguishing relevant security threats. With conventional computer systems, distinguishing security threats from actual security threats is a complex and difficult task because of the general inability to quantify a “threat.” By the use of an intelligent conceptual clustering technique, threats can be accurately distinguished from benign behaviors. Thus, electronic commerce, and Information Technology systems generally, can be made safer without sacrificing efficiency.
Abstract:
A lead fixation device for securing a medical lead in a human patient includes: a single-piece structure comprising: a top surface; a bottom surface; an outer perimeter; and an inner perimeter, the inner perimeter comprising: a diameter approximately equal to or smaller than a diameter of a burr hole into which the lead fixation device is designed to be deployed; a central bore extending longitudinally from the top surface through to the bottom surface, a portion of the central bore being located in approximately a center of the lead fixation device and comprising a central bore diameter; and at least one retention tract formed in the top surface of a cap of the lead fixation device, the retention tract configured for retaining, with an interference fit, a portion of a body of the medical lead in the lead fixation device.

Abstract:
A system and method for utilizing a gaming environment for evaluating security policies is presented. An administrator uses a mapping system to map policy tags corresponding to a policy manager with game tags corresponding to a game manager. In addition, the mapping system configures a participant's game based upon gaming attributes and history data, such as assigning incentives to particular roles or locations, using customized terrains, and configuring screen resolution. Once the mapping system maps policy tags to game tags and configures the game, the mapping system invokes the game and allows the game participant to play the game. While the game participant plays the game, the mapping system identifies policy events, such as a security breach, and rewards the game participant accordingly.
Abstract:
An input device is disclosed, one embodiment of which provides position information to an information handling system (IHS). The position information includes both location information and spatial orientation information of the input device in real space. The input device includes a location sensor which determines the absolute location of the input device in x, y and z coordinates. The input device also includes a spatial orientation sensor that determines the spatial orientation of the input device in terms of yaw, pitch and roll. The input device further includes a processor that processes the location information and the spatial orientation information of the input device in real space to determine an image view from the perspective of the input device in virtual space. Movement of the input device in real space by a user causes a corresponding movement of an image view from the perspective of the input device in virtual space. The input device itself displays the image view, or alternatively, an IHS to which the input device couples displays the image view.
Abstract:
The present invention provides decomposing metrics. A result is decomposed into a expression and at least one datum. The decomposed expression and at least one datum is rendered on a display means. This enables and end user to determine what calculations and data is used to calculate metrics, thereby giving the viewer more useful information.
