Abstract: A method and apparatus for obtaining a product chemistry from a solid block is provided. The product is housed within a dispenser, which utilizes a liquid and a gas to erode the block and produce a concentrate solution. The liquid and gas characteristics can be adjusted in the field to achieve a predetermined concentrate level in the solution. The introduction of air into the dispenser saves water, while producing higher concentrate levels.

The pest control device mounting system including a plug configured to be removably attached to the mounting bracket and to substantially close the portal when attached to the mounting bracket, wherein the plug is configured to accommodate a pest control device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for obtaining a solution from a solid product in contact with a liquid is provided. A solid product is housed within a dispenser. A liquid is introduced into contact with the solid product. The solution formed between the solid product and the liquid is collected, and a makeup liquid can be added thereto to further dilute or control the concentration of the formed solution. The amount of makeup liquid added to the solution can be controlled based on the temperature of the liquid to provide an automatic, continuously variable amount of liquid added to the solution. In addition, a method of providing a pressure independent control of the makeup liquid is also provided.

Abstract: A dispenser dispenses a consumable product from a container. The container is supported within a housing by a container holder. The container holder is vertically moveable within a movement range in the housing. A biasing structure biases the container holder upwardly. A sign is connected to move up and down with the container holder. An indicator associated with the sign is vertically fixed relative to the housing. When an amount of product remaining in the container reaches a low level, the biasing force of the biasing structure will lift the container holder, causing the indicator to be aligned with a portion of the sign that gives a visual cue to a user that the amount of product remaining is at a low level.

The product is housed within a capsule which is positioned inside a turbulent flow dispenser, which utilizes fluid to erode the block and produce a concentrated solution. The fluid characteristics can be adjusted in the field to achieve a predetermined concentrate level of the solution. The capsule provides a safe and convenient means for handling, storing and shipping the caustic block without exposing the operator or handler to the hazardous material. The capsule includes nested components which can be rotated between a closed or sealed position and an open use position.

Abstract: A solid product dispenser can be used to form a dilute liquid solution from a block of solid concentrate. In cases where only a small amount of liquid solution is needed, the solid product dispenser may dissolve the block of solid concentrate quickly and substantially uniformly to provide a solution of controlled concentration. This can be contrast with larger dispensing applications where a dispenser may dissolve a block of concentrate slowly at the start and more rapidly as the dispensing progresses, producing a solution with an average concentration higher than if only a small amount of solution were produced using the dispenser. In one example, the solid product dispenser includes a fluid distribution reservoir and a solid product reservoir positioned inside of the fluid distribution reservoir and over a platform on which the solid product sits. High pressure fluid flows between the two reservoirs, turbulently contacting the solid product.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for obtaining a product chemistry from a product and a fluid is provided. A product is housed within a dispenser. A fluid is introduced through a manifold diffuse member having a plurality of ports. A cover is positioned adjacent the manifold diffuse member and includes a plurality of ports. The cover is able to be adjusted, for example, by rotating the cover, to align and un-align the manifold diffuse ports and the cover ports. This adjustment controls the flow characteristics of the fluid through the manifold diffuse member and cover to control the characteristics of the fluid in contact with the product. The adjustment of the cover to control the flow will provide a generally consistent concentration and erosion rate based upon known relationships between a characteristic of the fluid and the flow of the fluid in relation to the product.
