An access node may use information in the handover error report to adjust configurations for parameters that are used to make handover decisions. A UE may transmit such a handover error report in response to an undesirable handover procedure from a source access node to a target access node, such as a failed or nearly failed or too early handover procedure. The UE may transmit this handover error report to either the source access node or the target access node or another node.

A value of a counter is incremented which corresponds to a potential cooperation area formed by the first cell corresponding to the first signal strength value and the n second cells corresponding to the n second signal strength values.

    摘要: A decoding method for decoding information content in at least one data packet, which is transmitted from a sender to a receiver via a data link. The information is represented by a bit sequence, which is transformed into a transmittable redundancy version. The information is initially transmitted for a first time in a first data packet from the sender to the receiver. The information is represented by a first redundancy version, which is self-decodable. An incorrect receipt is confirmed by sending a confirmation from the receiver to the sender. The information is retransmitted at least a second time in a second data packet from the sender to the receiver upon receipt of the confirmation, wherein, for representation of the information, a second redundancy version is used, the selection of which is performed in dependence on a coding parameter, describing whether the redundancy version is self-decodable or not.

    摘要: A method includes receiving neighbor cell measurement results at a first relay node, the results originating from mobile device(s) located in a communications coverage area of the first relay node and that are served by the first relay node. Using the received neighbor cell measurement results, an amount of interference is estimated that is experienced by the first relay node due to operation of a second relay node. An interference report is sent that includes an indication of the estimated amount of interference from the first relay node to a network access node that serves the second relay node. The interference report is sent over a wireless link between the first relay node and the network access node that serves the first relay node, and from the network access node that serves the first relay node to the network access node that serves the second relay node.
