摘要: A circuit for detecting out-of-band signals is disclosed. In one embodiment, the circuit includes a first differential circuit configured to level shift and positively rectify a differential input signal to produce a first output component of a differential output signal. The first differential circuit is further configured to generate and provide a common mode voltage of the differential input signal as a second component of the differential output signal. The circuit further includes a second differential circuit configured to level shift and output first and second fixed voltages based on an input reference voltage and a ground voltage. The circuit is configured to provide the differential output signal and the first and second fixed voltages to an indicator circuit configured to assert an indication responsive to detecting that a differential voltage of the differential output signal is greater than a differential voltage of the first and second fixed voltages.

摘要: A system and method for registering three-dimensional images with two-dimensional intra-operative images includes segmenting (24) a tubular structured organ in a three-dimensional image of the organ, and projecting (26) the three-dimensional image of the organ into two-dimensional space to provide a projected image. A medical instrument depicted in a two-dimensional image of the medical instrument is segmented (28). A similarity score is computed between the projected image and a shape of the medical instrument depicted in the two-dimensional image to determine a best match. The projected image is registered (30) to the two-dimensional image based on the best match.

摘要: A social networking system includes a mechanism for integrating user actions on objects outside of the social networking system in the social graph. External system operators include widgets that, when executed by user devices, record user interactions that correspond to a defined structure of actions and objects. Information about the actions and the objects is gathered from external systems as users of the social networking system interact with the external systems. Content items are ranked according to the information about the actions and the objects as well as preferences of the viewing users.

摘要: Methods, systems and apparatus, including computer program products, for identifying properties of an electronic document. In one aspect, a sequence of bytes representing text in a document is received. A plurality of byte-n-grams are identified from the bytes. For multiple encodings, a respective likelihood of each byte-n-gram occurring in each of the respective multiple encodings is identified. A respective encoding score for each of the multiple encodings is determined. A most likely encoding of the document is identified based on a highest encoding score among the encoding scores. In another aspect, a sequence of characters, having an encoding, are identified in a document. The sequence is segmented into features, each corresponding to two or more characters. A respective score for each of multiple languages is determined based on the features and a respective language model. A language of the document is identified based on the scores.

摘要: A fiber optic connector assembly and method for venting gas inside in a fiber optic connector sub-assembly. The fiber optic connector assembly includes a connector sub-assembly including a ferrule and a ferrule holder having a passage extending therethrough. A stiffener tube having a tube body disposed about a portion of at least one optical fiber supports insertion of the optical fiber into the ferrule holder passage. The stiffener tube contains at least one opening in its tube body configured to vent gas trapped inside the stiffener tube during assembly. In this manner, the trapped gas does not form a gas pocket in the bonding agent, which could compromise bonding among the optical fiber, stiffener tube, and connector sub-assembly.
