Abstract:
A Sealed and thermally insulated tank has a tank wall on a carrier structure. The tank wall has an insulating barrier, sealed barrier and an anchoring member. The sealed barrier has a first undulating metal membrane and a second undulating metal membrane which are located at one side and the other of the anchoring member, along an assembly edge which is oriented parallel with a longitudinal direction of the anchoring member. The first and the second membrane undulate with a first series of undulations which intersect with the assembly edge Terminal undulation portions which are associated with the first series of undulations of the first membrane extend in a direction transverse to the assembly edge in the direction of the second membrane, beyond the terminal undulation portions which are associated with the first series of undulations of the second membrane.

Abstract:
An impermeable and thermally insulated tank built into a load-bearing structure, the tank wall comprising: a thermally insulated barrier attached to a load-bearing wall and made of insulated blocks, juxtaposed in parallel rows separated from one another by gaps, an impermeable barrier supported by the thermally insulated barrier and made of welded metal sheets. Each insulated block carries, on the face of same opposite the load-bearing wall, two metal connecting strips arranged in parallel to the sides of the insulated block. The sheets of the membrane carried by the insulated block are welded to the strips. The connecting strips are rigidly connected to the insulated block carrying same. The sheets each have at least two orthogonal folds parallel to the sides of the insulated blocks, the folds being inserted into the gaps formed between two insulated blocks.

Abstract:
A sealed and thermally insulating tank whose wall is fixed to a carrier wall. The tank wall includes a secondary thermal insulation barrier which is retained on the carrier wall and a secondary sealing barrier which is supported by the thermal insulation barrier. There is also a primary insulation barrier which is fixed to the secondary element of the tank by a fastener which is connected to the secondary insulation barrier.
Abstract:
A sealed and thermally insulated tank for storage of a fluid, having a plurality of multilayer walls. A first of the walls has a secondary thermally insulating barrier including a first insulating panel along the intersection between the load-bearing structure of first wall and the load-bearing structure of an adjacent second wall. A second insulating panel is juxtaposed with the first insulating panel along one edge of the first panel opposing the second wall. The first wall has a secondary sealing membrane including a first corrugated metal sheet welded to a small metal plate of the first insulating panel; and a second corrugated metal sheet welded to the small metal plate of the second insulating panel. The first metal sheet and the second metal sheet are welded together via a joggled edge permitting the first and the second metal sheets to be lap welded to one another.
Abstract:
A sealed and thermally insulating tank having a sealing membrane, a thermal insulation barrier, and a reinforcing piece for reinforcing the sealing membrane against the pressure of the fluid contained in the tank. The thermal insulation barrier has a groove parallel to the longitudinal direction of the corrugation, and the reinforcing piece has a retaining rib engaged in the groove, the retaining rib forming a lug extending in the groove beyond a longitudinal end of the main body in the longitudinal direction of the corrugation. A stop element attached to the thermal insulation barrier stops the reinforcing piece in the longitudinal direction of the corrugation in a first direction and cooperates with the lug to stop the reinforcing piece in a direction moving away from the support surface.
