Abstract: A server system obtains a first video sub-stream comprising a first plurality of images of a scene and obtains a second video sub-stream comprising a second plurality of images of at least a portion of the scene. Images of the second video sub-stream have a higher image resolution or are received at a higher frame rate than images of the first video sub-stream. The first video sub-stream is transmitted to a client device for display. A selection of a region of interest in the scene is received. The server systems locates image data of the selected region of interest from the second plurality of images, and provides the located image data of the selected region of interest to the client device for display.

The method includes obtaining device identification information for the electronic device; broadcasting a request based on the device identification information that the electronic device be enabled to transmit or reflect location information using a radar technique; receiving a signal from the electronic device, the signal indicating a location of the electronic device using a radar technique; and determining the location of the electronic device based on the received signal.

Abstract: An electronic device is located in a room. The device has a casing, a first processor coupled to a radar transceiver, a second processor coupled to a motion sensor, and memory. Using the second processor, the device determines using signals from the motion sensor whether an object is in proximity. In accordance with a determination that the object is in proximity, the device wakes up the first processor. Using the first processor, the device enables operation of the radar transceiver. It determines using signals from the radar transceiver whether the object is in contact with the casing. In accordance with a determination that the object is in contact with the casing, the device identifies an input command based on at least one of: a location of the object, and a movement of the object, and adjusts operation based on the input command.

Abstract: This application discloses a method of provisioning an electronic device. The electronic device establishes a communication link with a client device that can obtain network credentials for accessing a secure wireless network. The network credentials is configured to enable the electronic device to independently access the secure wireless network. The client device encrypts at least a portion of the network credentials using a password key provided by a remote server. The password key is based on a secret not known to the client device, and the secret is associated with the electronic device at the remote server. The client device sends the encrypted network credentials to the electronic device over the established communication link, thereby allowing the electronic device to recover the network credentials based on the secret and access the secure wireless network using the network credentials.

Abstract: This application discloses a method of provisioning an electronic device. The electronic device proactively broadcasts an advertising packet that includes a device identifier associated with the electronic device. A server receives the device identifier via a client device, and issues a link approval response when it verifies that the electronic device associated with the device identifier is available for provisioning in association with a user account. In response to the link approval response, the electronic device and the client device establish communication via a short range wireless link. The client device encrypts at least a portion of network credentials of a secure wireless network using a password key generated at the server, and provides the encrypted network credentials to the electronic device. The electronic device decrypts the encrypted network credentials using a key generated at the electronic device, and accesses the secure wireless network using the decrypted network credentials.

Abstract: This application discloses a method of provisioning an electronic device. The method includes: (1) obtaining device identification information for a plurality of electronic devices; (2) broadcasting, via a standard wireless communication protocol, a request based on the device identification information that a particular electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices be enabled to transmit or reflect location information using a radar technique; (3) receiving a signal from the particular electronic device, the signal indicating a location of the particular electronic device using a radar technique; and (4) determining the location of the particular electronic device based on the received signal.
