    Abstract: A stacked gerotor pump is provided. The stacked gerotor pump includes a first gerotor pump defining a first inlet section and a first outlet section, a second gerotor pump defining a second inlet section and a second outlet section and a plate. The plate is interposed between the first and second gerotor pumps and defines upstream cavities respectively communicative with the first and second inlet sections, downstream cavities respectively communicative with the first and second outlet sections and a pre-pressurization hole by which the second outlet section is communicative with the first inlet section.

    Abstract: A seal assembly for preventing the flow of fluid includes a rotating component having a first sealing surface, a stationary component coaxial with the rotating component and having a second sealing surface with the second sealing surface configured to form a seal with the first sealing surface of the rotating component, and indents in one of the first sealing surface and the second sealing surface. The indents are configured to control a width of a gap between the first sealing surface and the second sealing surface to allow fluid to flow into the gap. At least two of the indents are at least partially aligned in the radial direction.

    Abstract: A bearing for a gear pump includes a bearing body defining a bearing bore defined therethrough along an axis for receiving a gear shaft. The bearing bore defines a cylindrical bearing inner diameter surface. The bearing body defines an outer mating surface configured for mounting to another bearing body. A groove is defined in the inner diameter surface along an axial direction relative to the axis to provide clearance for gear journal motion between the inner diameter surface and the gear shaft. The groove is defined in a portion of the inner diameter surface opposite the mating surface.
