The pump head includes a pump inlet, a pump outlet, and a pumping stage in which a movable pump element is driven by the drive shaft. The motor includes a motor rotor and a motor stator. A connector couples the motor rotor and the drive shaft. The connector includes a plate rotatable with the drive shaft, fan blades attached to the plate for establishing a flow of air for cooling the motor, and one or more counterweights attached to the plate for reducing or eliminating imbalance created by certain forces generated by the pump during operation.

摘要: A rotary, self-priming, positive displacement pump is described. The pump may include a pump housing having a fluid inlet and outlet, first and second rotary impellers having vanes, an input shaft and drive gears synchronizing the impellers to avoid clash, and a dividing wall separating a pumping chamber from a chamber containing the drive gears. The dividing wall separates the pumping chamber from the gear chamber, partially supports impeller shafts, and is formed in a plurality of abutting manually separable sections. When manually pulled apart, the separable sections free the impeller shafts for manual removal, to facilitate manual service to the pump.

Fitting strength between a first hole region provided in an inner face of the through hole of the rotor member which region extends along a rotational axis of the rotor member from one of end faces thereof perpendicular to this rotational axis and a first shaft region provided in an outer face of the shaft member is set greater than fitting strength between a second hole region provided in the inner face of the through hole of the rotor member and a second shaft region provided in the outer face of the shaft member.

摘要: A rotary machine includes a rotor, a rotating shaft fixed to the rotor, and a balance weight fixed to the rotor. The balance weight has a balance part fixed to the rotor and not contacting the shaft, a locking part, a shaft abutting part, and a coupling part coupling the balance part and the shaft-abutting part, The locking part is disposed on a side of the shaft opposite from the balance part. The locking part is locked with the shaft to limit movement of the balance part along a direction of centrifugal force. The shaft-abutting part is positioned between the shaft and the balance part, is coupled with the locking part, and contacts the shaft. A length of the locking part along a rotor radial direction is shorter than a rotor radial distance between the shaft and the balance part. The shaft-abutting part is radially shorter than the locking part.

摘要: One embodiment includes a gear pump with a driven gear, a gear shaft passing through the driven gear, and a stationary journal bearing. Also included is a fluid film, between a surface of the stationary journal bearing and a surface of the gear shaft, and a hybrid pad on the stationary journal bearing. The hybrid pad has a minimum leading edge angular location on the stationary journal bearing of 41.5° and a maximum trailing edge angular location on the stationary journal bearing of 54.5°. The gear pump also includes a porting path for supplying high pressure fluid from a discharge of the gear pump to the fluid film at the hybrid pad.

Specifically, rotor pads are provided on faces relative to an internal portion of the rotor housing as it relates to an end wall and a rear side of a cover plate. The rotor pads preferably have at least one of anti-galling and/or anti-friction or anti-wear characteristics thereby providing improvements over the prior art. A central member is preferably provided so that pad replacement may be relatively easily performed in the field in clean in place operations.
