Abstract: The present disclosure refers to an inkjet ink set including a black ink with a black pigment, a yellow ink with a yellow pigment, a cyan ink with a cyan pigment and a magenta ink with a magenta pigment, wherein at least one of the ink further contains a polyurethane binder; non-ionic surfactants; humectant solvent; non-volatile glycol ether co-solvent; a polyethylene wax emulsion and a balance of water. The inkjet ink set can also includes an orange ink, a green ink and/or a violet ink. The present disclosure refers also to a system for printing the ink set described herein.

Abstract: An example of a liquid bonding agent, for a liquid ink including a wax emulsion in an amount less than 1% actives, includes a calcium salt, the wax emulsion, an acetylenic surfactant, a glycol, and a balance of water. The wax emulsion is present in the liquid bonding agent in an amount ranging from greater than 0% actives to about 2% actives. The liquid bonding agent is to be digitally printed with a thermal inkjet printhead on a substrate under the liquid ink.

Abstract: A radiation curable polyurethane-based binder dispersion includes water and a radiation curable polyurethane dispersed in the water. The polyurethane is formed from: a polyisocyanate; a polyol having a chain with two hydroxyl functional groups at one end of the chain and no hydroxyl groups at an opposed end of the chain, and having a number average molecular weight ranging from about 500 to about 5,000; an acrylate or methacrylate, the acrylate or methacrylate having at least one hydroxyl functional group and having an acrylate functional group or a methacrylate functional group; an alcohol or a diol or an amine having a number average molecular weight less than 600; and a sulfonate or sulfonic acid having one or two amino functional groups.

Abstract: An inkjet printing system is described herein. In an implementation, the inkjet printing system includes a fixer dispensing unit for applying a fixer composition on a substrate and an ink dispensing unit for applying an ink composition on the substrate. The fixer composition includes a metal salt in a range of about 5% to 10% by weight. Further, the ink composition includes a liquid vehicle having a non-volatile organic solvent, a colorant dispersed in the liquid vehicle, and a latex binder dispersed in the liquid vehicle.

Abstract: An example of a pre-treatment fixing fluid for an offset coated medium includes calcium propionate, calcium pantothenate, tetraethylene glycol, a surfactant having an HLB less than 10, an acid, and a balance of water. The calcium propionate is present in an amount ranging from greater than 4.5 wt % to 8.0 wt %, the calcium pantothenate is present in an amount ranging from about 2.0 wt % to equal to or less than 15 wt %, and the surfactant is present in an amount ranging from about 0.01 wt % to about 1.0 wt %, each based on the total wt % of the pre-treatment fixing fluid. The acid is present in an amount sufficient to render the pH from about 4.0 to about 7.0.

Abstract: The present disclosure is drawn to UV-curable inkjet inks, fluid sets, and printing systems. An example UV-curable inkjet ink can include water, a photo-initiator, from 8 wt % to 25 wt % organic co-solvent, and from 2 wt % to 20 wt % of a polyurethane. The polyurethane can include a polymer strand including a polymer backbone having two ends terminating at first and second capping units. The polymer backbone can be formed of polymerized monomers including a diisocyanate and a reactive diol selected from an acrylate-containing diol or a methacrylate-containing diol. The first capping unit can include an acrylate-containing monoalcohol, a methacrylate-containing monoalcohol, an allyl-containing monoalcohol, an allyl-containing monoamine, a styrene-containing monoalcohol, an acrylamide-containing monoalcohol, or a methacrylamide-containing monoalcohol reacted with an isocyanate group of the diisocyanate. The second capping unit can include 3-(cyclohexylamino)-1-propanesulfonic acid or 2-(cyclohexylamino)ethanesulfonic acid reacted with an isocyanate group of the diisocyanate.

Abstract: The present disclosure sets forth a fluid set and a method of wet-on-wet printing. The fluid set can comprise an analog pretreatment fluid including water, latex, and a salt; and a first and second inkjet ink each comprising water, pigment, a solvent system, and a surfactant system. The analog pretreatment fluid can be prepared to have a surface tension from 32 dynes/cm to 40 dynes/cm. The first inkjet ink can have a surface tension ranging from 2 dynes/cm greater than the surface tension of the analog fixer fluid to 6 dynes/cm less than the surface tension of the analog fixer fluid. Likewise, the second inkjet ink can have a surface tension ranging from 2 dynes/cm greater than the surface tension of the analog fixer fluid to 6 dynes/cm less than the surface tension of the analog fixer fluid.
