Abstract:
According to an example, signal transmissions by a first antenna apparatus and a second antenna apparatus connected to a central processing apparatus through an Ethernet switch may be synchronized with respect to each other. An Ethernet packet containing first data and second data may be generated, in which the first antenna apparatus is to wirelessly transmit the first data and the second antenna apparatus is to wirelessly transmit the second data. In addition, the Ethernet packet may be communicated to the Ethernet switch, in which the Ethernet switch includes a first port that is in communication with the first antenna apparatus and a second port that is in communication with the second antenna apparatus, and the Ethernet switch is to communicate the Ethernet packet through the first port and a copy of the Ethernet packet through the second port substantially simultaneously with respect to each other.
Abstract:
According to an example, a cloud bandwidth modeling system may determine components for an application, create a vertex for each component in a graph representing a bandwidth model for the application, determine bandwidth requirements between each component, and create directed edges between the components to represent the bandwidth requirements.
Abstract:
In one implementation, an application-aware network control system determines that a network flow has been instantiated, derives network flow features associated with the network flow in response to determining the network flow has been instantiated, and provides the network flow features to an application identification module. In response to an application identification signal, the application-aware network control system ceases deriving the network flow features, and applies a flow action to the network flow based on an application identification report received from the application identification module.
Abstract:
Example embodiments disclosed herein relate to utilizing client mobile devices for wireless network monitoring. Link quality data for wireless networks are measured by a plurality of wireless client devices and are provided to a network controller. The link quality data is usable to manage a wireless local area network (WLAN). The wireless networks include at least the WLAN and a cellular network. A recommendation for connection is provided to the wireless client devices, where the recommendation indicates if the cellular network is recommended or an access point of the WLAN.
Abstract:
Data is transmitted over a wireless network by encoding data using a rateless code. A multi-cast signal is wirelessly transmitted to communicate the encoded data for any one or more receivers. The wireless transmission is performed in a manner that is agnostic as to a number of antennas that are utilized by each of the one or more receivers.
Abstract:
According to an example, a classification framework to identify an application name may be managed by accessing network flow information collected at a client device by an agent installed on the client device, in which the network flow information is information corresponding to network traffic that is at least one of communicated and received by an application running on the client device, accessing flow features of a plurality of packets that are at least one of communicated and received by the application, and creating training data for a classifier based upon a correlation of the network flow information and the flow features of the plurality of packets.
