Abstract: This application discloses an information transmission method in a communication system. According to the method, a master base station sends a request message to a secondary base station for requesting to transfer one or more flows from the master base station to the secondary base station for transmission to a terminal device. The request message carries one or both of identification information of each flow, and information of a data radio bearer (DRB) associated with each flow. The master base station receives a response message from the secondary base station, indicating whether each of the one or more flows is admitted or rejected by the secondary base station. Based on the identification information of the flows, DRBs are mapped to the flows. QoS management of information transmission is more refined, and requirements of 5G communication systems for QoS management of information transmission in a dual connectivity scenario can be met.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a random access method which includes: obtaining, by a user equipment, first information, where the first information indicates that a subframe of a physical random access channel (PRACH) resource is a subframe available for use after a licensed-assisted access (LAA) cell successfully preempts a channel, and the PRACH resource is allocated by a first base station serving the LAA cell for user equipments to access the LAA cell in a random access procedure; receiving, by the user equipment, a first indication sent by the first base station, where the first indication indicates that the LAA cell has successfully preempted a channel; and initiating, by the user equipment, the random access procedure according to the first information after receiving the first indication.

Abstract: A handover processing method includes obtaining, by a relay station, information, where the information is used for determining whether a mobility management entity (MME) of a user equipment is in a mobility management entity pool (MME pool) to which a neighboring eNB belongs; and determining, by the relay station, that an X2 interface between a serving eNB of the relay station and the neighboring eNB cannot be used for handover if the MME of the user equipment is not in the MME pool to which the neighboring eNB belongs. The foregoing solutions enable the relay station to initiate a correct handover procedure.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node dual connectivity setup methods and communication apparatus. In one example method, a first IAB node sets up a first F1 interface with a primary donor node of the first IAB node. The first IAB node obtains an internet protocol (IP) address anchored at a secondary donor node connected to the first IAB node and/or configuration information of a serving cell, of the first IAB node, belonging to the secondary donor node. The first IAB node sends, to the secondary donor node, a request for setting up a second F1 interface with the secondary donor node, where the request includes the configuration information of the serving cell, of the first IAB node, belonging to the secondary donor node.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of communication technologies, and provides a communication method, apparatus, and system. In the method, a source donor node receives a measurement report from an IAB node through a source parent node, and determines, based on the measurement report, to hand over the IAB node from the source parent node to a target parent node. The source donor node sends configuration information to the IAB node through the source parent node. In a process in which the IAB node is handed over from the source parent node to the target parent node, the IAB node sends uplink data to a target donor node by using the configuration information through the target parent node. The configuration information includes: a routing configuration and/or a bearer mapping configuration. The uplink data includes uplink user plane data and/or uplink control plane data.
