The resource adjustment indication is used for instructing a mobility management entity MME to adjust a discovery resource allocated to the cell. The method also includes generating a resource adjustment request, where the resource adjustment request includes the resource adjustment indication. The method also includes sending the resource adjustment request, so that the MME adjusts the discovery resource of the cell according to the resource adjustment request.
Abstract:
A method for managing uplink carrier frequencies is provided, which is applicable to the field of communication. The method includes the following steps: A state switching response message sent by a UE is received, where the state switching response message includes a result of state switching performed by on a secondary uplink carrier serving cell; The result of the state switching is notified to a secondary uplink carrier non-serving cell in a secondary carrier active set through an RNC. A device and a system for managing uplink carrier frequencies are further provided. Through the method, device, and system provided in embodiments of the present invention, the uplink carrier frequencies are managed, so as to facilitate transmission of uplink data during multi-cell collaboration.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a machine to machine service management device, a network device, a method processing service and system. An MSMC is added between an MTC server and a 3GPP network to perform service processing, and during the service processing, after a trigger receiving unit in the MSMC receives a triggering request message, a session establishing unit establishes a corresponding service session according to information of a requested group service, and a request sending and establishing unit sends a service request to a BM/SC device to establish a corresponding service session and establish a link with an MTC device. Therefore, security of a network system of the MTC application is improved.
Abstract:
A method for tracking a terminal device having a cellular modem and a positioning module is disclosed. The method comprises monitoring a location of a terminal device through a cellular network using the cellular modem of the terminal device, while the positioning module of the terminal device is disabled; determining that the terminal device enters a first cell of the cellular network based on signals from the cellular modem; enabling the positioning module of the terminal device in response to the determination that the terminal device enters the first cell; and obtaining from the positioning module a first geographical location of the terminal device in the first cell.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a device and a method for data transmission in D2D communication. The method includes: transmitting, by transmitting user equipment UE, scheduling signaling to receiving UE, where the scheduling signaling includes frequency domain resource information, a quantity of cycles that can be occupied, or transmission pattern information; and transmitting, by the transmitting UE, user data to the receiving UE according to the scheduling signaling, so that the receiving UE receives the user data according to the scheduling signaling. In the technical solution of the present invention, if there is no feedback from the receiving UE in a D2D communication process, the transmitting UE may repeatedly transmit the user data, and the receiving UE may repeatedly receive the user data, thereby improving reliability of data transmission.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a resource allocation method, a base station, and user equipment. The method includes: receiving, by a second base station, resource configuration information of a first base station; and sending, by the second base station, the resource configuration information of the first base station to user equipment (UE), where the resource configuration information of the first base station is used to configure a resource for device-to-device (D2D) communication between the UE and the second base station. According to the method provided in embodiments of the present invention, the UE can perform D2D communication with the second base station or a core network by using the resource configured by using the resource configuration information of the first base station. Therefore, an uplink resource or a downlink resource of the first base station can be reused by the UE, thereby improving resource utilization of a communications system.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a monitoring report generation method where the method includes: receiving a monitoring parameter broadcast by a base station; monitoring energy of each discovery resource in a resource pool within a discovery time domain; determining a busy resource and an idle resource; and generating a monitoring report when a proportion of the busy resource or the idle resource in a predetermined quantity of consecutive discovery time domains meets a reporting condition corresponding to the busy resource or the idle resource, and sending the monitoring report to the base station. This resolves a problem in the related technology that: because D2D user equipment cannot accurately obtain a quantity of resource collision times in a cell, the base station cannot accurately learn a resource status in the cell, and it is ensured that the base station can accurately learn the resource status in the cell.
Abstract:
A specific solution is: An idle ready-to-support terminal receives a system broadcast sent by a base station, acquires a channel quality parameter between the ready-to-support terminal and the base station according to the system broadcast, and if a first threshold is met, acquires a channel quality parameter between the benefited terminal and the ready-to-support terminal; and if a second threshold is met, the ready-to-support terminal generates a measurement event, and sends the measurement event to the base station, so that the base station sends a supporting-cooperation indication to the ready-to-support terminal according to the measurement event, and the terminal establishes a cooperative communication set with the benefited terminal according to the supporting-cooperation indication. The present invention is used to establish a cooperative communication between a base station and a terminal.
Abstract:
A coexistence apparatus, method, and system for a discovery signal and a cellular signal. The coexistence apparatus receives a communications mode request indication sent by user equipment UE, where the communications mode request indication is used to indicate a communications mode that the UE needs to use, and the communications mode includes device-to-device D2D communication or cellular communication. The apparatus determines, according to the communications mode request indication, a communications mode used by the UE, and sends, to the UE, information about the determined communications mode used by the UE.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for controlling packet access, a network side device, a terminal device and a communication system. The method includes: generating an access trigger message, where the access trigger message carries a temporary mobile group identity TMGI allocated to a user equipment UE; and sending the access trigger message to packet trigger an access operation of the UE for the TMGI. In the embodiments of the present invention, the group identity TMGI already existing in an MBMS can be used as the group identity of packet triggering UE access, and the access trigger message carrying the TMGI can be correspondingly generated and sent so as to trigger an access operation of the UE belonging to the TMGI, thereby implementing the function of the packet triggering user access.
