    Abstract: An inter prediction method includes parsing, by a processor, a bitstream to obtain a location of a target adjacent image block of a current image block. The method further includes obtaining a preset correspondence between an adjacent image block location and a motion vector precision, wherein in the preset correspondence, locations of at least two adjacent image blocks correspond to different motion vector precisions. The method further includes determining, based on the location of the target adjacent image block and the preset correspondence, a target motion vector precision corresponding to the target adjacent image block. The method further includes determining a motion vector predictor of the current image block based on the location of the target adjacent image block and the target motion vector precision.

    Abstract: A decoding method includes: parsing a data stream, and if partitioning an image block with a size of 2N×2N using a quadtree partition pattern is allowed, processing a 2N×N first subimage block and a 2N×N second subimage block or an N×2N first subimage block and an N×2N second subimage block in a constraint subimage processing mode, wherein an image block partition pattern obtained for the partitioned second subimage block and the partitioned first subimage block is different from an image block partition pattern obtained after the 2N×2N image block is partitioned using the quadtree partition pattern, where the 2N×N first subimage block and the 2N×N second subimage block or the N×2N first subimage block and the N×2N second subimage block are obtained by partitioning the image block with the size of 2N×2N.

    Abstract: This application relates to video coding/decoding technologies, and discloses an image decoding method, a video decoder, an image encoding method, a video encoder, and a video coding/decoding system. The image decoding method includes: obtaining information about a first leaf node obtained by splitting a coding tree unit serving as a root node; when the information about the first leaf node meets a split condition, obtaining split instruction information of the first leaf node; when the split instruction information of the first leaf node is used to instruct to split the first leaf node, obtaining encoding information corresponding to a second leaf node obtained by splitting the first leaf node serving as a root node; and generating, based on the encoding information corresponding to the second leaf node, a reconstructed image corresponding to the second leaf node.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an image registration method and apparatus. The method includes: determining a target plane; orthogonally projecting the optical center of each of the cameras in the planar camera array onto the target plane, to obtain a projected point of the optical center of each of the cameras; generating a rectangular grid on the target plane according to the projected points of the optical centers of the cameras in the planar camera array; obtaining a target grid point of each of the cameras according to the rectangular grid; determining a target camera coordinate system of each of the cameras; and registering, images collected by the cameras in the planar camera array. In embodiments of the present disclosure a target camera coordinate system of a camera is determined again, thereby greatly reducing complexity of subsequent image registration.
