Abstract:
A motor vehicle wheel comprising two mating, annular, permanently connected parts formed without cutting and composed of different, but congenerically similar, materials. The wheel is composed of an inner wheel part, which comprises the inner and greater part of the rim bed together with the wheel disc, and an outer wheel part which forms the remaining and smaller part of the rim bed. The two parts are connected together at their respective rim bed portions to provide a complete rim bed. The two wheel parts are provided with mating, generally annular, contiguous connection surfaces which may be of cylindrical, conical and/or serrated configuration and which are joined in an air-tight manner.
Abstract:
In order to fill a casting mould with a molten metal, the latter is caused to flow into through an annular chamber into the shaped cavity of a casting mould, such annular chamber discharging over the entire external periphery of the shaped cavity into the latter. The inflow of molten metal into the annular chamber is interrupted by means of a piston, which, being borne inside the annular chamber, is capable of sliding therein. The molten metal can be caused to flow across a large flow cross-section, which shortens the filling time even with reduced flow velocity.
Abstract:
A motor vehicle wheel, particularly a motorcycle wheel, comprising two identical, contiguous, co-axial, complementary light metal pressings or stampings fixed to a hub member, each forming half of a rim bed for a tire. The two mating wheel pressings provide a star-like wheel spider having closed hollow main and auxiliary spokes. The invention also relates to a method for the manufacture of such a vehicle wheel.
Abstract:
A circuit arrangement for displacing characters representing an image content on the screen of a data viewing device, in which the characters are represented in a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns, and in which a electron beam is moved over the screen by a first deflecting signal in the vertical direction and by a second deflecting signal in the horizontal direction, employs a deflecting stage which produces a further saw-tooth shaped deflecting signal which, in consecutive intervals of time, uniformly adds parts of the image content at one edge of the screen and at the same time removes corresponding parts at the opposite edge of the screen, and an adder which adds the further deflecting signal to the first and/or second deflecting signal.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a wheel (1), in particular a light-alloy wheel for motor vehicles, consisting essentially of a rim (2) and wheel spokes (3), the entire periphery of the outer rim flange (15) being provided with a rim-flange protection ring (10). A cavity (71) is formed between the outer rim flange (15) or the outer rim base (9) and the rim-flange protection ring (10), said cavity being suitable for receiving additional engineered elements. The rim-flange protection ring (10) also acts as a protective element in a collision.
Abstract:
A wheel, particularly a light metal wheel, for motor vehicles, essentially consists of a spoke wheel center (20) and a rim (10). In order to reduce weight and increase the bending strength, which is of great significance in regard to contact with curbstones and potholes, profile segment (31) in the form of half-shell units, which forms a continuous hollow chamber (41) in the direction of the circumference, at least in sections, are provided in the area of an external base of the rim (14).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a wheel, especially a light metal wheel for motor vehicles, essentially comprising a wheel spider (20) and a wheel rim (10). Said wheel rim (10) is provided with an inner rim base (16) and an outer rim base (14) which respectively merge into an inner rim horn (18) and an outer rim horn (12). At least some sections of the outer rim base (14) are made of plastic, said plastic (30) being directly molded onto the wheel (1).
