    摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for manufacturing or machining a gear workpiece with a hyperboloidally, globoidally or similarly formed gearlike tool which has an abrasive or similar surface. The axes of the workpiece and tool are skew lines. During changing of the center distance, in particular as the workpiece and tool are moved apart at the end of the machining operation, the crossed-axes angle is automatically adjusted to conform to the effective rolling circle.

    摘要: For the precision working of particularly hardened bevel gears, a method and an apparatus are disclosed in which the workpiece is moved during rolling contact with a bevel-gear-shaped tool having abrasive flanks. Workpiece and tool rotate in meshing relation with their axis spaced and crossed and each connected with a guide gear which also meshing engage and roll with one another. Both the workpiece-tool pair and also the guide-gear pair run each with backlash, however, on opposite flanks, so that the entire combination runs without backlash.

    摘要: A method for the manufacture or machining of the tooth system of straight or helically toothed, externally or internally toothed, nonhardened or hardened workpiece with a toothed tool, the tooth flanks of which are coated with a cubic boron nitride (CBN). The workpiece and the tool roll along with a single-flank contact and are supported by a guide-gear pair which also roll along with a single-flank contact. The contacting flanks of the workpiece-tool pair are the mating flanks for the contacting flanks of the guide-gear pair. To protect the CNB-coating, the tool is already driven at a speed which is necessary for an optimum chip removal before the tool tooth flanks start to work on the workpiece tooth flanks.

    摘要: Gear-shaped precision-working tools, in particular shaving gears, capable of providing an optimum machining result only during a portion of their entire lifetime, since during each regrinding (generating), the profile displacement factor, and thus the number of the tooth flanks which engage successively and simultaneously one after the other the workpiece gear to be machined, is changed. This is remedied with the invention in such a manner that the precision-working tool is reground (generated) while maintaining the original number of teeth (z) and the original normal module of the pitch angle (.beta.), the module in transverse section and the base circle diameter are changed in such a manner that little or no change occurs to an original profile displacement factor (x). When the tool, which is to be reground (to be generated) in this manner, has grooved tooth flanks (12, 13), for grooves (14) increases continuously from a first groove (14') mutually adjacent one end of a tooth flank (12, 13) up to a second groove (14") mutually adjacent an other end of the same tooth flank, the grooves (14") having the greatest depth and the grooves (14') having the least on mutually adjacent and opposing tooth flanks (12, 13) opposing one another.

    摘要: An apparatus and tool for the precision working of gears, particularly by a gear shaving process. The process involves the step of changing the direction of rotation between the workpiece and the tool approximately starting with half of the advance path and the smallest distance between the axes. The optimum condition occurs when the direction of rotation is changed prior to reaching the smallest distance between the axes and the advance is directed at a right angle with respect to the axis of the workpiece or tool. The tool is rotatably supported on a spindle as is the workpiece. The workpiece is driven relative to the tool to advance same relative to the tool. Control devices are provided for controlling the movement of the workpiece relative to the tool. The tool has grooves which extend from the addendum to the dedendum and form cutting edges and the flanks of the teeth have concaved surfaces.

    摘要: In an apparatus for the cutting, deburring or breaking of the side tooth edges of gears with one or two tools which are located on the side of a guide gear and which machine the aforesaid tooth edges. The guide gear meshes with the workpiece, and, in one embodiment, is constructed as a measuring gear. Prior to the actual machining operation, the distance between the axes of the pretoothed workpiece and the measuring gear is measured independently and is made visible, if desired, on an indicating device. In order to avoid incorrect measurement results due to burrs existing on the workpiece, the guide gear can, if desired, have recesses into which extend the burrs.
