摘要： A common channel message transmitting device and method in a CDMA communication system. In accordance with the method of the present invention, a mobile station (MS) sends a common channel message with a request for designation of a channel for transmission of a consecutive common channel message, and a base station (BS) sends a response message indicating an available channel ID for use by the MS, when one is available. If a channel ID is available, the MS sends the next message on a channel designated with the assigned channel ID.

摘要： An access request message transmission device for a mobile station in a CDMA communication system employing RSMA in which a base station assigns a reverse common channel in response to an access request message from the mobile station, and the mobile station transmits a message to the base station over the assigned reverse common channel. The access request message transmission device includes a hash ID generator for generating a multi-bit hash ID for exclusively using the reverse common channel; a traffic information generator for generating multi-bit traffic information representing traffic information on the reverse common channel; and an access channel transmitter for generating the access request message using the hash ID and the traffic information, and transmitting the generated access request message to the base station over an access channel.

摘要： There are provided a common channel message communicating device and method in a CDMA communication system. In a base station of the common channel message communicating device, a control message generator generates a control message including information representative of a spreading code for spreading a reverse common channel message, and a forward common channel transmitter transmits the control message on a forward common channel. In a mobile station, a control message analyser analyses information representative of an assigned spreading code included in the control message received on the forward common channel, a spreading code generator generates a spreading code based on the spreading code information, and a channel transmitter spreads the reverse common channel message by the spreading code and transmits the spread reverse common channel message.

摘要： A device and method for communicating a common channel message in a CDMA communication system. The device comprises a base station transmitter and a common channel transmitter. The base station transmitter includes a specific channel transmitter for outputting a channel signal at a second transmission power level for a predetermined time duration and otherwise outputting the channel signal at a first transmission power level. The common channel transmitter transmits a common channel message at an assigned slot duration. A power supply voltage is provided to the receiver of the mobile station for the predetermined time duration and the assigned slot duration to enable the receiver. The power supply voltage to the receiver is otherwise disengaged from the power supply so as to allow the receiver to operate in a sleep mode.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for a cluster-based power control at a macro base station in a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes broadcasting an interference allowance value determined based on a predefined aggregate interference to a femto cell, updating the interference allowance value with consideration of a channel activity for each femto cell group on a cluster basis, and when detecting a change in an aggregate interference generated due to femto cell power allocation, repeating determination of an interference allowance value so that a Quality of Service (QoS) of a macro cell user is met, and broadcasting the interference allowance value to a femto cell.

摘要： An apparatus for detecting an on-off keying signal in a CDMA mobile station device is disclosed. A first calculator receives an on-off keying signal and a reference signal transmitted from a base station transmitter at a given transmission power level, despreads the received on-off keying signal, and generates a symbol power level of the despread on-off keying signal. A second calculator despreads the reference signal and generates a power level of the despread reference signal. A multiplier generates a variable threshold value by multiplying the power level of the despread reference signal by a gain determined by a ratio of the transmission power of the reference signal from the base station transmitter to the transmission power of the on-off keying signal from the base station transmitter. A comparator compares the variable threshold value with the symbol power level of the despread on-off keying signal. Further, a symbol detector detects the symbol of the on-off keying signal by comparing a comparison value from the comparator with a prescribed threshold value.
