    摘要: A substrate transfer apparatus comprising: a plurality of floating-transfer guide plates adjacent to each other with a space, each of guide plate having a plurality of floating gas ejecting holes; a gas supplying source for supplying a floating gas to the guide plates; a tray that is placed on one of the guide plates in order to mount a substrate to be transferred, and that is floated by the floating gas; and a transfer arm for transferring the floated tray to the adjacent other guide plate from the guide plate, wherein the tray includes a main body portion having both side edges parallel to a transfer direction of the tray, and an outward projecting portion that is formed so as to partially project outwardly from at least one of both side edges of the main body portion, and wherein the transfer arm is in contact and engaged with the outward projecting portion when the tray is transferred by the transfer arm.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a desk-top type color electro-photographic apparatus which is easy in use, small in size and light in weight, wherein maintenance such as changing its photosensitive member can be performed by a user and color adjustment is performed with high accuracy of less than 100 .mu.m. Developing units for four colors are placed in a rank, a single endless-belt-shaped photosensitive member being placed below them to form an approximately oval shape, the photosensitive member being touched with a transfer member on its major axis side to transfer each color of images. In addition to this, the photosensitive member is employed a cartridge type for easiness of user's maintenance and constructed such that highly accurate positioning between the body of apparatus and the cartridge can be performed. Effect of the eccentricity of pulleys is decreased by means of making the pulleys wrapped with the photosensitive member have the identical diameter and making the diameter of the transfer member integer times as large as that of the pulley.

    摘要: A method of recording a color image in such a manner that two toner images of different colors are formed on the basis of video signals supplied from an information processor for producing different colors, and the toner images are transferred to a sheet of recording paper so that the toner images overlap each other, is disclosed, in which method video signal portions for forming contiguous toner images of different colors at a recording position are extracted from the video signals, and one of the video signal portions is extended so that the toner image based upon the video signal portion is enlarged in the direction of the boundary between the contiguous toner images based upon the video signal portions, to prevent a gap having the ground color of the recording paper from generating between the contiguous toner images even when one of the contiguous toner images is spaced apart from the other toner image.
