摘要: A fluid pressure operated servomotor such as a vacuum booster including a power piston having a differential pressure acting thereacross, an input rod for actuating a valve mechanism mounted in the power piston, a reaction lever disposed between the power piston and an output rod for transmitting a force to the output rod and transmitting a reaction force to the input rod. A return spring for urging the power piston in the return direction acts through the reaction lever on the power piston, whereby the reaction force is not transmitted to the input rod until the force transmitted to the output rod exceeds a predetermined value.

摘要: A vacuum booster has a housing the interior of which is divided into a vacuum chamber and a pressure chamber, a plunger connected to an input rod and fitted slidably in a cylinder portion of a valve body, and valve seats defined respectively on adjacent ends of the plunger and the cylinder portion to cooperate with a seating surface of a valve member for controlling respectively the communication between the pressure chamber and the atmosphere and between the two chambers. A surface portion of the seating surface of the valve member with which at least one of the valve seats engages is a curved rotational surface.

摘要: A master cylinder of the invention supplies a brake fluid from a large diameter pressurizing chamber 56 to a small diameter hydraulic chamber 49 by opening a reverse flow checking opening and closing portion 61 by sliding movement of a stepped piston 16 forwardly, that is, fast fill and when the hydraulic pressure of the large diameter pressurizing chamber 56 rises, a control valve 86 escapes the hydraulic pressure of the large diameter pressurizing chamber 56 to a reservoir 12 to gradually lower in accordance with rise of the hydraulic pressure of the small diameter hydraulic chamber 49, thereby capable of reducing a strange feeling in a pedal feeling caused by sudden pressure release of the large diameter pressuring chamber 56.

摘要: There is disclosed a pneumatic booster having a vacuum chamber connected to an intake pipe of an engine. An air outlet of an ejector is connected to the intake pipe through a vacuum control valve, and an air inlet of the ejector is connected to an air cleaner. A vacuum pick-up port of the ejector is connected to the vacuum chamber of a booster body. The vacuum control valve comprises a control chamber and a control piston, and the negative pressure in the booster is introduced into the control chamber and acts on the control piston. When the negative pressure in the booster is insufficient, the control piston acts to open the control valve and a negative pressure is supplied from the ejector to the vacuum chamber. When the negative pressure in the booster is sufficiently high, the control piston acts to close the control valve and stops the operation of the ejector, thus reducing an effect of the ejector with respect to an air/fuel ratio of the engine.

摘要: A brake booster includes a housing, a partition adapted to divide the interior of the housing into two chambers, and two diaphragms adapted to divide the two chambers into constant and variable pressure chambers. A control valve includes a valve body carried by the diaphragms, and a plunger slidably received in the valve body. The control valve is operatively connected to the variable pressure chambers to develop a pressure differential across the diaphragms to cause the diaphragms to move in response to actuation of an input rod. A reaction disk is disposed between an output rod and the valve body to transmit the reaction of movement of the output rod to the input rod. An adjusting mechanism is disposed between the plunger and the reaction disk and compressible so as to develop a greater degree of pressure differential when a force applied by the input rod exceeds a predetermined level. The reaction disk is caused to make contact with the contact disk and held out of contact with the spring and the plunger when the plunger is actuated.

摘要: A vacuum augmentation device for use with a vehicle braking system and of the type having a body, a diaphragm-piston mechanism providing a pair of fluid chambers in the body, valving for isolating or communicating the chambers, a push rod actuated plunger assembly for operating the valving, an output rod shiftably mounted in the body and carrying a fulcrum plate, and a number of reaction levers for effecting a lever type coupling between the diaphragm-piston mechanism, the shiftable plunger assembly and the fulcrum plate on the output rod is provided with improved structure for coupling the reaction levers with the diaphragm-piston mechanism, which structure employs a mounting plate member engaged with the mechanism and carrying on the opposite side thereof an elongate fulcrum pin for each reaction lever which is longitudinally engageable with the latter in line contacting relationship to provide a radially fixed fulcrum for each of the reaction levers. The improved structure facilitates assembly of the device, provides for retention of the fulcrum pins against dropping out, and establishes the kind of radially fixed, line contact fulcrums necessary to prevent material change in the augmentation ratio with wear.
