摘要： The present invention relates to a unit-dose syringe comprising a static mixer for storage, mixing, and application of a multi-component material, preferably dental material. There is provided a unit-dose syringe for a multi-component material comprising a cartridge having a compartment for each component, a static mixer, a mixing tip being integrally connected to the cartridge at the front end of the cartridge, and receiving the static mixer, and a plunger for each compartment of the cartridge, the static mixer comprising closure plugs at is rear end for closing the outlet ends of the compartments. Furthermore, a unit-dose syringe for a multi-component material alternatively comprises a cartridge having a compartment for each component and an integrally formed static mixer, a plunger for each compartment of the cartridge, and a mixing tip connectable to the cartridge and for receiving the static mixer.

The device is switchable between a storage mode and an operative mode. In the storage mode a cannula is locked in the device and the valve opens the outlet, and in the storage mode the cannula can be released from the device and the valve closes the outlet. The device may facilitate handling and may be relatively inexpensive.

The closure and the body are pivotally movable relative to each other between an open position in which the outlet is open and a closed position in which the closure closes the outlet. The closure and the body are adapted for locking engagement with each another in the closed position. The closure has a locking member for locking and unlocking the closure and the body in the closed position. A force applied on the locking member for unlocking urges the closure toward the open position. The dispenser preferably facilitates the application of a material to be dispensed to a desired location.

摘要： A capsule for storing and dispensing dental material. The capsule comprises a cartridge for the dental material, and a nozzle. The nozzle being pivotable with respect to the cartridge between a first position in which the capsule is closed for storage and a second position in which the capsule is opened for dispensing the dental material. One of the nozzle and the cartridge comprises a bearing member and the other one of the nozzle and the cartridge comprises a bearing shell, wherein the bearing member and bearing shell form a pivot. Upon pivoting the nozzle from the first to the second position, the seal between the bearing member and the bearing shell is improved.
