摘要： A capsule for storing and dispensing dental material. The capsule comprises a cartridge for the dental material, and a nozzle. The nozzle being pivotable with respect to the cartridge between a first position in which the capsule is closed for storage and a second position in which the capsule is opened for dispensing the dental material. One of the nozzle and the cartridge comprises a bearing member and the other one of the nozzle and the cartridge comprises a bearing shell, wherein the bearing member and bearing shell form a pivot. Upon pivoting the nozzle from the first to the second position, the seal between the bearing member and the bearing shell is improved.

摘要： A photon emitting device comprises a plurality of solid state radiation sources to generate radiation. The solid state radiation sources can be disposed in an array pattern. Optical concentrators, arranged in a corresponding array pattern, receive radiation from corresponding solid state radiation sources. The concentrated radiation is received by a plurality of optical waveguides, also arranged in a corresponding array pattern. Each optical waveguide includes a first end to receive the radiation and a second end to output the radiation. A support structure is provided to stabilize the plurality of optical waveguides between the first and second ends. The photon emitting device can provide a replacement for a discharge lamp device in various applications including road illumination, spot lighting, back lighting, image projection and radiation activated curing.

摘要： A dispenser for dispensing relatively low viscosity material includes a plunger that is movable to advance the plunger in the chamber. A full stroke of the lever dispenses no more than a single drop of material from the chamber. A cap is detachably connected to an outlet of the chamber and includes an arm in contact with the lever when the cap is connected to the outlet for releasably retaining the lever in a fixed position to prevent unintentional discharge of material from the chamber. A stop comprising one or more sets of teeth is connected to the lever for hindering advancement of the plunger after the lever is released. In certain embodiments, the dispenser includes two side-by-side chambers, and a mixing tray has a well with side recesses for receiving protruding outlets of the chambers.

摘要： A container includes, in one embodiment, an outer housing holding a first mass of a first component of a composition, an inner housing holding a second mass of a second component of the composition, and a seal. The first component is a liquid and the mass of the second component conforms to a bottom and side wall of the inner housing. An interference fit exists between the outer housing and the inner housing such that the inner housing seals the first mass within the first chamber. The inner housing has an aperture in a side wall of the second chamber.
