This application provides a parameter determining method and a communications entity. The method includes: When UE is in a system in which an EPS network and a 5GS network interwork, the UE is currently located in the 5GS network, and used QoS parameters include an authorized UE AMBR and an authorized session AMBR of a session. Because of movement of the UE, the UE needs to be handed over to the EPS network, and QoS parameters that need to be used for the UE in the EPS network include an authorized UE AMBR and an authorized APN AMBR. The authorized APN AMBR is determined by a first communications entity based on at least one of a subscribed APN AMBR or the authorized session AMBR of the PDU session, and the authorized UE AMBR is determined by a second communications entity based on the authorized APN AMBR.

The present invention discloses a service processing method and apparatus, and relates to the communications field. The method includes: receiving trigger information sent by an intermediary device; and assisting, based on the trigger information, the intermediary device in negotiating with UE and a network server, to enable the intermediary device to obtain a first key, where the first key is used by the intermediary device to decrypt ciphertexts sent by the UE and the network server, the ciphertext is obtained after the UE or the network server encrypts service information by using a second key, and the first key is corresponding to the second key. The present invention resolves a problem that an intermediary device cannot provide service optimization for user equipment and a network server because the intermediary device cannot decrypt ciphertext, and achieves an effect of expanding a usage scope of service optimization.

The present application discloses an application migration method in a mobile edge system, a related device, and a system. The method performed by a mobile edge orchestrator includes: obtaining a working index set of a to-be-migrated application on a first mobile edge server, where the working index set includes a migration index set including at least one migration index; determining a target migration solution of the to-be-migrated application based on the working index set and a preset correspondence, which is a correspondence between a migration index set and a migration solution; and sending a migration instruction to a mobile edge platform manager, where the migration instruction carries the target migration solution, and the migration instruction is used to instruct the mobile edge platform manager to migrate, based on the target migration solution, the to-be-migrated application from the first mobile edge server to a second mobile edge server.

Method and an apparatus for determining a bearer for mobile edge computing are disclosed. A Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) can obtain a data packet that includes an end marker. The MEC can obtain a bearer identifier and an identifier of UE in a handover procedure according to the data packet that includes the end maker, and requests information about the second bearer from a node of a second bearer. The request can include the bearer identifier of the UE and the identifier of the UE. The node of the second bearer can return a response message and information regarding the second bearer according to the request. The MEC can receive the response message and store the information regarding the second bearer according to the identifier of the UE and the bearer identifier of the UE.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a protocol frame transmission method, apparatus, and system, and a node device. The protocol frame transmission method includes: encapsulating one protocol frame into at least one TCP data packet, where the last TCP data packet in the at least one TCP data packet includes indication information, and the indication information is used to indicate that the last TCP data packet is the last TCP data packet corresponding to the protocol frame; and sending the at least one TCP data packet to a node device. According to the embodiments of the present invention, it can be ensured that a data part of one TCP data packet includes data of only one protocol frame.

Embodiments of the present application provide a monitoring server, a resolution server, a request device, and a node selection method. The monitoring server in the present application includes a receiver, a processor, and a transmitter. The receiver is configured to receive a selection request message sent by the resolution server; the processor is configured to generate a first source node suggestion table according to the selection request message and a source node selection table; and the transmitter is configured to send the first source node suggestion table to the resolution server, so that the resolution server generates a second source node suggestion table according to the first source node suggestion table and sends the second source node suggestion table to the request device, and the request device selects a source node according to the second source node suggestion table.

The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for transmitting streaming media data and relates to the field of multimedia communication technologies. The method includes: receiving a data request sent by a user equipment UE, where the data request is used to request a media presentation description MPD file from a streaming media server; if the UE does not support a dynamic adaptive steaming over the Hypertext Transfer Protocol HTTP DASH technology, forwarding the data request to the streaming media server, and receiving the requested MPD file that is delivered by the streaming media server according to the data request; and acquiring DASH streaming media data from the streaming media server according to the MPD file, and sending the DASH streaming media data to the UE, where a rate at which the DASH streaming media data is transmitted matches a bit rate selected from the MPD file.

A session establishment method and apparatus is provided, to resolve a problem that a terminal device cannot establish a plurality of PDU sessions for a same APP based on a URSP. The method includes: A terminal apparatus receives indication information from a first network apparatus, where the indication information is used to indicate that a first application needs to be associated with at least two sessions; and establishes at least one session for the first application based on at least the indication information, so that the first application is associated with at least two sessions.

Embodiments provide a location area management method, a control node, and user equipment (UE). The method is applied to a communications system including a control plane node, and the control plane node stores an upper-level area identity list of UE. The control plane node determines a lower-level area identity list of the UE based on the upper-level area identity list. The control plane node sends the lower-level area identity list to the UE. When the upper-level area identity list is allocated to the UE, the lower-level area identity list is allocated to the UE. The lower-level area identity list includes fewer areas than the upper-level area identity list, so that when the control plane node pages the UE, paging is performed in an area corresponding to the lower-level area identity list, thereby reducing signaling overheads of a network side device.
