A packet processing method, device and system includes: receiving, by a switching device, a packet, where there is a correspondence in the switching device between a prefix and a generic flow entry, where the correspondence is created by using the prefix as an index, and a match field of the generic flow entry corresponding to the prefix includes the prefix; acquiring, by the switching device according to the prefix, a bit field that is in the packet and that is used for matching; and performing matching, by the switching device, between a value of the bit field and a data parameter of the match field of the generic flow entry corresponding to the prefix.

A packet transmission method, a device, and a communications system, where the method includes receiving, by a forwarding plane apparatus, a media access control (MAC) address request broadcast by a base station, where the MAC address request includes a target Internet Protocol (IP) address and is used to request a MAC address corresponding to the target IP address, forwarding the MAC address request to a control plane apparatus when the forwarding plane apparatus does not save a first correspondence between the target IP address and the MAC address, receiving, the MAC address request response, and forwarding the MAC address request response to the base station.

The present disclosure provides a congestion control method and apparatus, and a related device. The method in the present disclosure may include: obtaining a transmission rate of a transmission link, and obtaining a congestion control window size of the transmission link; calculating a congestion risk coefficient of the transmission link based on the transmission rate and the congestion control window size; and determining whether the congestion risk coefficient is not less than a preset threshold, and if the congestion risk coefficient is not less than the preset threshold, triggering an adjustment to the congestion control window size.

Embodiments of the present disclosure include a mobility management entity (MME) receives a downlink data notification (DDN) message sent by a serving gateway (SGW), where the DDN message carries an identity of user equipment, and the DDN message is used to instruct the MME to send a paging message to a base station in a tracking area list (TA list) of the user equipment. After enabling an aggregate paging function, the MME determines, according to the DDN message, whether a priority of the user equipment is higher than a preset level. If the priority of the user equipment is higher than the preset level, the MME directly sends the paging message to the base station. The present disclosure is applicable to a paging message sending process.

A network storage method, a switch device, and a controller are provided. The method is applicable to a controller based on OpenFlow protocol. The method includes: determining, by the controller, that a first switching equipment is to cache data requested by a first data packet; and notifying, by the controller, the first switching equipment to cache the data requested by the first data packet, and notifying the first switching equipment to establish a first flow table entry according to issued match information corresponding to the first data packet and issued action instruction information corresponding to the first data packet, wherein the action instruction information corresponding to the first data packet is adapted to instruct the first switching equipment to forward the data cached in the first switching equipment and requested by the first data packet.

A method, an apparatus, and a system for adjusting a deployment location of a virtual machine in order resolve a problem that an inter-node communication cost has excessively great impact on an adjustment result in an existing solution for adjusting a deployment location of a virtual machine in a cloud computing system, the inter-node communication cost is corrected according to technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure. Consequently, not only a corrected inter-node communication cost can exert impact on the result for adjusting a deployment location of a virtual machine, but also communication traffic can play a major role in affecting the adjustment result. Therefore, a more appropriate result for adjusting a deployment location of a virtual machine can be obtained, and bandwidth consumption inside the cloud computing system can be reduced.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a network control method and apparatus. The network control method includes: receiving, by a first network controller, a request message of a forwarding plane device, where the request message includes information that is used to indicate a network event and information that is used to instruct to request a processing policy of the network event, and the first network controller is a primary network controller of the forwarding plane device; and if the first network controller determines, according to the request message, that the first network controller cannot provide the processing policy, sending, by the first network controller, the request message to a second network controller, receiving the processing policy sent by the second network controller, and sending the received processing policy to the forwarding plane device.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus, and a system for controlling forwarding of service data in a virtual network, which relate to the field of communications and are used to improve user experience. The method includes: obtaining, by a forwarding control node, a processing rule of a service and connection information of a virtual network; determining, by the forwarding control node according to the processing rule of the service and the connection information of the virtual network, a forwarding path that a data packet of the service needs to pass through; generating, by the forwarding control node, a corresponding forwarding rule for a virtual switching node according to the forwarding path; and sending, by the forwarding control node, the forwarding rule to the virtual switching node. Embodiments of the present invention are applicable to a scenario of packet processing.
