Abstract: A hydrophobic alloy film and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The hydrophobic alloy film includes Al, Cu, O, and at least one selected from the group consisting of Fe, Co, Ni, and Cr, or Ti, Zr, O, and at least one selected from the group consisting of Fe, Co, Ni, and Cr. The content of each of Al and Ti is in the range of 40 at. % to 70 at. %. The content of each of Cu and Zr is in the range of 10 at. % to 40 at. %. The total content of at least one selected from the group consisting of Fe, Co, Ni, and Cr is in the range of 10 at. % to 30 at. %. The content of O is in the range of 10 at. % to 30 at. %. The hydrophobic alloy film has a quasicrystal structure and nanoparticles.

Abstract: A photocatalytic film structure is provided. The photocatalytic film includes a plurality of micron particles; a plurality of nano particles; and a plurality of block bodies, wherein the volume of each of the block bodies is greater than that of each of the nano particles, and each of the micron particles, the nano particles and the block bodies contains zinc oxide and a doping metal, and wherein the amount of the doping metal is 1 to 5 wt % of the photocatalytic film, and the plurality of micron particles and micron particles take up 10 to 50% of the volume of the photocatalytic film.

Abstract: A grinding disk and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The grinding disk includes a graphite base and a silicon carbide film, the silicon carbide film covering the graphite base, and the silicon carbide film has a surface grain size of 5 μm to 80 μm. By a hot-wall chemical vapor deposition system, a highly dense silicon carbide film is formed on a surface of the graphite base. The grinding disk may replace a conventional metallographic grinding and polishing disk, and is improved in characteristics such as hydrophobicity and abrasion resistance.

Abstract: A method of fabricating a graphite composite structure includes the following steps. An amorphous carbon layer having a short-range ordered structure region in a range from 50% to 100% is provided. At least one force is locally applied on a surface of the amorphous carbon layer to form at least one stressed region. An annealing process is performed on the amorphous carbon layer so as to form at least one long-range ordered graphite structure in the at least one stressed region. The at least one long-range ordered graphite structure includes a stack structure including a plurality of (002) planes. An angle between an extension direction of the (002) planes and the surface of the amorphous carbon layer is in a range from 45 degrees or more to 90 degrees or less.
