    Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, devices, and systems related to coordinating channel switch times and specifying device operation (for example, transmitting device operation) to ensure data reception by one or more devices (for example, receiving devices). A device may receive a data path setup request frame from a second device. The device may cause to send a service a data path setup response frame. The device may cause to establish a communication with the second device on a first channel. The device may cause to establish a communication with the second device on a second channel at a first time. The device may cause to wait, by the device, at least for a duration specified by a channel switch time (CST) parameter. The device may cause to send device data to the second device over the first channel or the second channel based at least in part on the CST parameter.

A station (STA) transceiver may be enabled during a common window for a wireless network based on a synchronized timing for the network. A neighbor awareness networking (NAN) service discovery frame may be constructed for a service. The NAN service discovery frame may include an expedited robust connection data structure, which may include a robust connection request and capability data. The constructed NAN service discovery frame may be broadcast during the common window via the transceiver.

    Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, apparatus, and systems related to enhanced Bluetooth triggering of device Wi-Fi radios. A device may determine a first Bluetooth data packet including transport data and an indication of a Wi-Fi service discovery, the transport data including a first sub-field and a second sub-field, the first sub-field indicating a length of the second sub-field, and the second sub-field indicating one or more Wi-Fi services supported by the device. A Bluetooth radio of the device may send the first Bluetooth data packet including an indication of a Wi-Fi service. The device may identify a second Bluetooth data packet received by the Bluetooth radio from a second device, the second Bluetooth data packet indicating that the Wi-Fi service is supported by the second device. For example, an apparatus may include logic and circuitry configured to cause a first NAN device to transmit a message including a NAN Data Link (NDL) attribute corresponding to an NDL with a second NAN device, the NDL attribute including a Maximal (Max) Idle Period field to indicate a time period during which the second NAN device is allowed to refrain from transmitting over the NDL without the NDL being terminated; and to allow the first NAN device to terminate all NAN Data Paths (NDPs) over the NDL, if any frame is not received from the second NAN device for at least the time period indicated by the Max Idle Period field.

    Abstract: Devices and methods of providing a NAN schedule update are generally described. NAN devices communicate data on a schedule of repeating time blocks in which transmission in different time blocks are on different channels. A public action frame indicates in a subfield that the frame is a schedule update frame. The schedule update frame provides attributes to have general schedule update for availability time, existing unicast service or existing multicast service. The schedule update frame also contains a schedule update control field that indicates in a subfield that the current time block is cancelled or extended or provides a general schedule update. The schedule update control field also indicates a reason for the schedule update.
