Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit, WTRU, receives a positioning request message from another WTRU (1402). The positioning request message indicates a request associated with one or more of a sidelink positioning reference signals, SL-PRS, transmission or a SL-PRS reception and indicates a range of one or more parameters associated with the SL-PRS transmission or reception; these parameters comprise one or more of SL-RSRP, angle of departure AoD, angle of arrival AoA, and a line of sight LOS/NLOS metric. The WTRU measures the one or more parameters indicated in the positioning request message (1404) and performs the SL-PRS transmission (1410) or the SL-PRS reception (1410) on the condition that the measured parameters are within the range indicated in the positioning request message (1408).

Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) is configured to receive physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource configuration information. The PUCCH resource configuration information comprises information indicating at least two PUCCH resources. Each of the at least two PUCCH resources comprises an indication of at least one physical resource block (PRB). Each of the at least two PUCCH resources is associated with a first type of PUCCH allocation or a second type of PUCCH allocation. The first type of PUCCH allocation is associated with frequency hopping and the second type of PUCCH allocation is not associated with frequency hopping. The WTRU is configured to determine a PUCCH resource from the at least two PUCCH resources based on an indication in a downlink control information (DCI). The WTRU is configured to send a PUCCH transmission with frequency hopping based on the determined PUCCH resource being associated with the first type of PUCCH allocation.

Abstract: The disclosure pertains to methods and apparatus for performing positioning of wireless transmit and/or receive units (WTRUs) in wireless communication systems. A WTRU may receive configuration information indicating a time window associated with positioning. The configuration information may indicate any of a duration and a periodicity of the time window. The WTRU may receive (1) first scheduling information indicating to transmit a first uplink transmission including a sounding reference signal (SRS) and (2) second scheduling information indicating to transmit a second uplink transmission including a positioning SRS (SRSp). The first uplink transmission may not include any SRSp. On condition that the second uplink transmission is scheduled for transmission during the time window, the WTRU may transmit the second uplink transmission during the time window and may transmit the first uplink transmission only when the first uplink transmission is scheduled for transmission outside of the time window.

Abstract: Procedures, methods, architectures, apparatuses, systems, devices, and computer program products are disclosed that may be implemented in wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for device-to-device communications, such as sidelink (SL) transmissions in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) environment. In one representative method, the WTRU may monitor a resource pool for a first channel having 1st stage SL control information (SCI) and decode a detected 1st stage SCI. The 1st stage SCI may be associated with corresponding 2nd stage SCI. Based on information indicated by the decoded 1st stage SCI, the WTRU may determine whether to perform, or continue to perform, decoding of the associated 2nd stage SCI. The WTRU may also perform decoding of a second channel associated with the 1st stage SCI. The decoding of the 2nd stage SCI and the decoding of the second channel may be performed for a same sub-frame, slot and/or mini-slot.

Abstract: A SL wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), configured in mode 1, with SL transmissions on unlicensed spectrum, may receive a SL grant from a gNodeB (gNB) and determine whether the SL grant falls within a COT initiated by another WTRU, based on COT structure information received from SCI transmissions of other WTRUs. If the SL grant falls within the COT initiated by another WTRU, the WTRU may perform a first LBT type to try to share the COT. If the SL grant does not fall within the COT initiated by another WTRU, the WTRU may perform a second LBT type to try to initiate its own COT. If LBT fails for the grant, the WTRU may report a failed LBT to the gNB in UCI.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for burst transmission are provided. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) is configured to receive configuration information for a periodic search space (P-SS) and a semi-persistent search space (SP-SS). The WTRU is configured to monitor the SP-SS using the periodicity of the SP-SS. The WTRU is configured to receive a second message in a second PDCCH in a slot of the SP-SS.
