    摘要： A head suspension assembly in a rigid disk drive having a load beam with a mounting region, a rigid region and a spring region located between the mounting region and rigid region. The mounting region includes an integral boss tower having attachment features. A method of making a multi-piece head suspension for a rigid disk drive is also disclosed. The method includes providing a first layer including a mounting region with an integral boss tower attached to a stiffener by one or more positioning tabs; attaching a second layer including a spring region to an interface between the mounting region and the stiffener; attaching a flexure to the stiffener; and removing the positioning tabs. The flexure can optionally be a portion of the second layer.

    摘要： A method and device are provided that use a sequencer in the device to control interactions on an interface bus. The sequencer is programmed to interrupt a co-processor before execution of a command. Based on the interrupt signal and a stored error mode page, a false error condition is initiated by further programming the sequencer to operate abnormally. After recovery from the error condition, the sequencer is reprogrammed to operate normally.

    摘要： A cable cutting tool includes a first arm having a first jaw member connected to a first handle member and a second arm having a second jaw member pivotally connected to a second handle member. The first and second arms are connected by a fastener and are pivotal with respect to one another about a longitudinal axis of the fastener. A tension element is mounted on the second jaw member and is positioned wholly outside of and out of contact with the second handle member. A take-up element is mounted for rotation on the second jaw member. A latching mechanism is mounted on the second jaw member and is configured to inhibit rotation of the take-up element in a first direction. The take-up element is uninhibited by the latching mechanism when rotating in a second direction. A chain extends over the take-up element and has a first end attached to the first arm and a second end attached to the tension element. The chain is positioned wholly outside of and out of contact with the second handle member.

    摘要： A telescopic hot stick or pole for manipulating a tool from a position a selected distance away from a workpiece wherein the hot stick includes a tubular first section having a female end and a predetermined non-circular cross-sectional shape. A second section has a male end slidably engaged within the first tubular section and a predetermined non-circular cross-sectional shape conforming in a close-fit relation to the shape of the first section to prevent significant relative rotation of the second section therein. A locking assembly maintains the second section in an extended position where locking is accomplished in response to a sliding of the second section to the extended position and may be disengaged to permit ready removal of the second section from the first section.

A video image display apparatus including a cathode ray tube device for producing a plurality of electron beams each corresponding to a respective color and, in response to a magnetic field, for converging the electron beams onto a screen of the cathode ray tube device so as to cause video images corresponding to the converged electron beams to be displayed thereon. The apparatus further includes a deflection yoke device for producing the magnetic field. The deflection yoke device is arranged such that an inner surface thereof is adjacent to an outer surface of the cathode ray tube device. The inner surface of the deflection yoke device has a predetermined contour such that a distance between the outer surface of the cathode ray tube device and the inner surface of a middle portion of the deflection yoke device is substantially larger than each respective distance between the inner surface of both end portions of the deflection yoke device and respective adjacent parts of the outer surface of the cathode ray tube device.
