    摘要： A method of processing a digital broadcast signal in a transmitter includes encoding signaling information including a transmission parameter channel, including transmission parameters and a fast information channel (FIC) including cross layer information for mobile service acquisition, and transmitting the broadcast signal including ensembles including the encoded signaling information. The FIC is divided into FIC segments, each FIC segment including a FIC segment header and a FIC segment payload. The FIC segment header includes type information indicating a type of the FIC segment, the FIC further including a first ensemble identifier identifying a specific ensemble including a service map table (SMT). The SMT includes a header including a second ensemble identifier corresponding to the first ensemble identifier, a payload including service acquisition information of the specific ensemble, and IP access information of a mobile service for acquiring an IP datagram of the mobile service from the specific ensemble.

    摘要： A method of processing broadcast data includes: receiving a broadcast signal including a group including mobile service data, FIC data, TPC data and known data sequences; demodulating the broadcast signal; compensating channel distortion generated in the demodulated broadcast signal based upon at least one of the known data sequences; decoding the FIC data and the TPC data from the channel distortion compensated broadcast signal; extracting the signaling information table from the channel distortion compensated broadcast signal; identifying a stream where keys to decrypt the mobile service data are obtained using the extracted signaling information table; and decrypting the mobile service data using the keys. The group further includes data blocks. First, fourth, fifth and sixth known data sequences are inserted into third, fifth, sixth and seventh data blocks, respectively. Second and third known data sequences are inserted into a fourth data block.

    摘要： A digital broadcast receiving system and a method for controlling the same are disclosed. The method a method for controlling a digital broadcast receiving system includes the steps of receiving a broadcast signal having mobile service data and main service data multiplexed therein, extracting transmission parameter channel (TPC) signaling information and fast information channel (FIC) signaling information from a data group within the received mobile service data, acquiring a program table, by using the IP signaling channel within an ensemble included in the received broadcast signal, and controlling the system to create a list of channels mapped with all ensembles transmitted through at least one physical frequency, by using the acquired program table.

    摘要： A method of processing data in a transmitter includes separating ensembles including mobile service data; building a Reed-Solomon (RS) frame including the mobile service data, dividing the built RS frame into RS frame portions; encoding signaling data including fast information channel (FIC) data including cross layer information for mobile service acquisition and transport parameter channel (TPC) data including FIC version information for identifying an update of the FIC data, wherein the TPC data is RS-encoded at a first code rate, and the FIC data is block-interleaved after being RS-encoded at a second code rate; forming a data group including data of an RS frame portion and the signaling data; and transmitting a broadcast signal including the formed data group.
