Abstract: Disclosed are oral care compositions and the use of such oral care compositions for inhibiting co-aggregation of oral bacteria and inhibiting bacterial growth. Abstract: An ink tank and ink tank support structure which contains structural elements which are designed to permit proper installation of the ink tank in the ink tank support structure while minimizing the chances of improper installation of the ink tank in the ink tank structure. A primary ink tank seal is provided in the ink tank, and a relatively low compressive force seal is provided between the ink tank support structure and the ink tank to reduce leakage of fluid from the tank and limit evaporation of fluid from the tank despite repeated insertions and removals of the ink tank from the ink tank support structure. A variable capacity ink tank and an ink tank with staggered height walls are disclosed, as well as a code reader for determining characteristics of ink tanks.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a method and means for stabilizing the frequency difference between the component frequency modes in the beam of a gas laser influenced by Zeeman splitting. Stabilizing the frequency difference makes constant the frequency of the beat signal obtained from heterodyning the component modes. Stabilization is obtained by accurately controlling the difference in frequency between the component frequency modes to provide a selected separation, preferably 250 KHz, with deviation maintained at less than two KHz. The difference in frequencies is controlled independently of the individual frequency or intensity of either of the component frequency modes, or of their relative position within the "Doppler broadened" spectral profile characteristic of the lasing material.

Abstract: A photomultiplier detector protection system and method utilizing a negative feedback loop to maintain the photomultiplier detector output below a predetermined output. The feedback loop comprises a comparator responsive to the photomultiplier detector output and also responsive to a predetermined limit signal. The comparator output is applied to a summing amplifier which also receives a voltage adjust signal. The output of the summing amplifier controls the output of a power supply which is in turn applied to the photomultiplier detector.
