摘要: A multicast optical switch includes a free-space optical assembly of discrete splitters, cylindrical optics, and a linear array of reflective switching devices, such as microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) mirrors, to provide low-loss, high-performance multicast switching in a compact configuration. The assembly of optical splitters may include multiple planar lightwave circuit splitters or a multi-reflection beam splitter that includes a linear array of partially reflecting mirrors, each of a different reflectivity.

摘要: A communication comprises a plurality of digital subscriber line (DSL) links, a first node having at least one application port configured for an elastic service and a plurality of DSL ports, and a second node having at least one application port configured for an elastic service and a plurality of DSL ports. Each of the first and second nodes is configured to interleave data received over the at least one application port across the plurality of DSL ports, each DSL port allocated a set of DSL timeslots for transport of the data received over the at least one application port. When a failure is detected on one of the DSL links, each of the first and second nodes is configured to interleave the data received over the at least one application port across the remaining DSL ports not connected to the failed DSL link without adjusting the set of DSL timeslots allocated to each of the remaining DSL ports for transport of the data from the at least one application port.

摘要: Systems and methods for communicating presence information are provided. A communication station establishes a persistent connection with a proxy server and a temporary connection with a presence server. The temporary connection is established independent of the proxy server. The communication station provides and obtains presence information directly from the presence server over the temporary connection. After providing or obtaining information, the communication station terminates the temporary connection, while still maintaining the persistent connection with the proxy server.

摘要: Methods, apparatus, and systems for testing, analyzing, and improving integrated circuit yield and quality are disclosed herein. For example, in one exemplary embodiment, one or more fault dictionaries are generated for identifying one or more defect candidates from corresponding observation point combinations. In this exemplary method, the observation point combinations indicate the observation points of a circuit-under-test that captured faulty test values upon application of a respective test pattern. Further, the one or more fault dictionaries in one embodiment are generated by: (a) for a first defect candidate, storing one or more first indicators indicative of test patterns detecting the first defect candidate, and (b) for a second defect candidate, storing at least a second indicator indicative of the test patterns that detect the second defect candidate, the second indicator comprising a bit mask that indicates which of the test patterns detecting the first defect candidate also detect the second defect candidate.

摘要: Methods, apparatus, and systems for computing, analyzing, and improving integrated circuit yield and quality are disclosed herein. For example, in one exemplary method disclosed herein, information is received from processing test responses of integrated circuits designed for functional use in electronic devices. In this embodiment, the information is indicative of integrated circuit failures observed during testing of the integrated circuits and of possible yield limiting factors causing the integrated circuit failures. Probabilities that one or more of the possible yield limiting factors in the integrated circuits actually caused the integrated circuit failures are determined by statistically analyzing the received information. The probabilities that one or more possible yield limiting factors actually caused the integrated circuit failures are reported. Tangible computer-readable media comprising computer-executable instructions for causing a computer to perform any of the described methods are also disclosed.

摘要: Provided is a sensor array and a method of forming the same. The sensor array includes an array of apertures etched into a 3D patterned resist layer to expose areas of one or more agents and/or reagents deposited on a substrate. The sensor is formed using a Self-Aligned Imprint Lithography (“SAIL”) method, a process that allows for a one-time deposition of all required materials followed by a series of etching/cleaning steps. The location of reagents on the sensor template, as well as the concentration gradient of each reagent, may be controlled through the sensor manufacturing process. Bores of a single reagent, or bores containing two or more reagents, may be formed using the SAIL process.
