Abstract:
An enclosed swimming pool is disclosed having floor, side and roof members formed of panels of polyurethane material covered on the interior and exterior surfaces thereof with a layer of fiberglass reinforced resinous material to form a monolithic enclosure for holding a quantity of water and an opening in the side wall member to permit access to the interior of the enclosure.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for disposing of the condensate collected in the drip pan of the evaporator coil of a refrigeration system located within a storage enclosure. An air pump is used to withdraw the condensate by aspiration from the drip pan and deposit it in a storage container outside of the enclosure. The stored condensate is subsequently transferred to a pan open to the atmosphere from which the condensate evaporates.
Abstract:
A product warming apparatus with at least one product holding container having a bottom surface. An enclosure includes at least one opening configured to receive the product holding container. A heat radiating plate is provided in thermal communication with and configured to receive heat from a heating element. The heat radiating plate includes a top surface disposed adjacent the bottom surface of the product holding container with the top surface of the heat radiating plate being spaced apart from the bottom surface of the product holding container to define a gap therebetween. A thermostatic controller is in thermal communication with the heat radiating plate for controlling a flow of heat to the heat radiating plate.
Abstract:
A method of providing a textured surface to the floor of a refrigerated storage enclosure. The steps include applying a layer of resinous material over the surface of the floor, the surface being formed of a hardened material, placing a single layer of sand on the layer of resinous material, and applying a layer of clear epoxy resin over the layer of sand. The layer of sand is evenly applied, and the layer of clear epoxy resin applied over the layer of sand is permitted to harden.
Abstract:
A support surface is disclosed for transferring heat from a source to food articles placed adjacent said surface and having a plurality of heat conductive support elements each with at least one passageway therethrough, tubular means in each passageway and having a portion thereof extending beyond the ends of said passageways, and header or tubular means for interconnecting adjacent extending portions of said tubular means for transferring therebetween heated fluid from said source. The method of making the support surface is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A refrigerated beverage trailer is disclosed having floor, wall and roof members formed of polyurethane with a covering layer of fiberglass reinforced resinous material to form a monolithic enclosure with a closure member. Beverage dispensing spigots are provided on the side of the enclosure and a wheel and hitch assembly is secured to the floor member by the same resinous material.
Abstract:
An enclosure is disclosed for heating or cooling food products on a pan. The enclosure preferably has transparent side walls, a closure member and a rack comprising a plurality of vertically spaced-apart pan supports each comprised of a plurality of interconnected tubular fluid carrying members, each support is maintained in spaced-apart relationship by fluid carrying conduits which communicate with the tubular members to thereby transfer heated or cooled fluid between supports from a fluid supply inlet to a fluid discharge outlet.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for cooling foodstuff to a temperature of less than 40.degree. F. within the legally mandated time of 4 hours which consists of a refrigeration apparatus capable of forming a bank of ice and means for circulating water over the ice and through an enclosure in heat conductive relationship with a container holding the foodstuff to be cooled.
Abstract:
An apparatus for heating food articles including a chamber containing a plurality of vertically, spaced-apart supports, each having a hollow interior which is interconnected by a single conduit. A thermostatically controlled steam generator is connected to the single conduit serving to both transmit steam to the supports and return condensate water back to the steam generator to thereby heat the food articles.
