    Abstract: Provided are a rubber composition which can give a crosslinked product with enhanced tensile strength, and a pneumatic tire including the rubber composition as a portion thereof. The rubber composition includes a solid rubber (A), a hydrogenated aromatic vinyl-conjugated diene random copolymer (B), and a filler (C). The random copolymer (B) satisfies the following (i) to (iv). (i) The content of aromatic vinyl units is 10 to 70 mass %. (ii) The vinyl content in conjugated diene units of the random copolymer (B) before hydrogenation is 10 to 70 mol %. (iii) The hydrogenation ratio of the conjugated diene units is not less than 10 mol %. (iv) The weight average molecular weight is 3,000 to 100,000.

    Abstract: The tire rubber composition includes 100 parts by mass of a solid rubber (A) having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not more than −10° C., 0.1 to 50 parts by mass of a modified liquid diene rubber (B) having a functional group derived from a silane compound with a specific structure, and 20 to 200 parts by mass of a filler (C), the modified liquid diene rubber (B) satisfying the following (i) to (iv): (i) the weight average molecular weight (Mw) is 15,000 to 120,000, (ii) the vinyl content is not more than 70 mol %, (iii) the average number of the functional groups per molecule of the modified liquid diene rubber (B) is 1 to 30, and (iv) the glass transition temperature (Tg) is not more than 0° C.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a rubber composition capable of producing a rubber molded article that is excellent in rolling resistance performance, steering stability, mechanical strength and abrasion resistance, and a tire obtained by using the rubber composition in at least a part thereof. The present invention relates to a rubber composition including (A) a rubber component including at least one rubber selected from the group consisting of a synthetic rubber and a natural rubber, (B) silica and (C) a modified polymer of farnesene obtained by introducing a functional group into a polymer of farnesene, in which a content of the silica (B) in the rubber composition is from 20 to 150 parts by mass on the basis of 100 parts by mass of the rubber component (A), and a content of the modified farnesene polymer (C) in the rubber composition is from 2 to 10 parts by mass on the basis of 100 parts by mass of the silica (B).

A resin modifier may include the diene rubber and give such a resin composition. A diene rubber may include butadiene units and an Mw of 5,000 to 50,000, and may satisfy (i) to (iii): (i) βcp>0; (ii) β12>40; and (iii) βcp/(β12−40)≤2, wherein β12 is the mol % of 1,2-bonded butadiene units, and βcp is the mol % of specific structural units, both with respect to all butadiene units present in the diene rubber.
