    摘要: A power steering apparatus for an automobile or other vehicle has a steering shaft constituted by an input section and an output section connected by a torsion bar. A mechanism for detecting when a driver is imparting torque to the steering wheel of the vehicle is constituted by a potentiometer having a resistive element and a wiper arm, one of which is mounted on the output section and the other of which is mounted on the torsion bar so that the wiper arm will rotate with respect to the resistive element and the resistance of the potentiometer will change when the torsion bar is rotated with respect to the output section. The potentiometer is electrically connected to a preamplifier mounted on the steering shaft, and the preamplifier is electrically connected to slip rings through which its output can be supplied to a stationary control unit. The electrical output of the potentiometer is independent of the speed of rotation of the steering wheel.

    摘要: The idle-stop restart control system includes: a sensorless synchronous motor-generator which operates as a generator and a starting motor; an induced-signal detecting circuit for detecting an induced signal output from an armature winding; a field drive circuit for controlling energization of a field winding; and a restart control circuit output, to the field drive circuit, a drive signal for controlling the energization of the field winding to amplify the induced signal while calculating the number of revolutions and an angular position of a rotor based on the detected induced signal when an engine stop command is input and a level of the detected induced signal is equal to or less than a predetermined value and output the drive signal for controlling the energization of the armature winding to restart the engine based on the calculated number of revolutions and angular position of the rotor when a restart command is input.

    摘要: A housing structure for vehicle-mounted electronic equipment according to the present invention is superior in heat dissipation, water resistance, heat resistance and vibration resistance. An electronic substrate is temporarily fixed onto an annular circumferential wall part of a cover made of fire retardant resin, and connector contact pins are soldered to the electronic substrate. The electronic substrate is fixed and held between a heat-transfer base and the annular circumferential wall part with screws, and heat generated by a heating part on the electronic substrate is transferred to the base and dissipated. The annular circumferential wall part has an annular groove in which a sealant is inserted, and the base has an annular protrusion snapped into the annular groove.

    摘要: In an automotive engine control apparatus used for a multi-cylinder engine where both an injection coil and an ignition coil are employed with each of multiple cylinders, abnormal states are systematically detected, while an injection system is mutually interconnected with an ignition system as to these abnormal states. The injection coils are driven via a first switch element by a microprocessor, and injection operations of these injection coils are monitored by a first detection circuit. The ignition primary coils are driven via a second switch element by the microprocessor, and ignition operations of these ignition coils are monitored by a second detection circuit. The microprocessor controls drive stopping means to perform a turn-out drive operation such that this drive stopping means stops both a fuel injection operation and an ignition operation of an abnormal-operated cylinder with respect to an abnormal state occurred in either the injection system or the ignition system. Also, abnormal-state storage operation by abnormal state storage means separatedly provided for the injection system/ignition system/cylinder system, which is derived from stopping of the drive operations, is prohibited by storage prohibiting means.

    摘要: A controller for cylinder injection type injectors is constructed so that current detection element for detecting currents flowing through injector coils are inserted between a connection point of first switching element and the nodes of reverse current blocking diodes and current commutation diodes, respectively, and over-current detection element do not include circuits for temporarily interrupting over-current detection operations based on output signals of over-excitation signal generation element. That is, the current detection element are arranged at paths not admitting the flow of over-excitation currents, so that power dissipations at the current detection element can be reduced. Further, the circuits for temporarily interrupting the operations of the over-current detection element while over-excitation currents are being supplied are dispensed with. As a result of these arrangements, the present invention can provide a small-sized, lightweight and inexpensive controller capable of detecting over-currents in a wide range.

    摘要: An electrical load is supplied with power from a driving power source, and a microprocessor (CPU) controls the opening/closing current supply rate (duty factor) of an opening/closing element in accordance with target current and driving power source voltage so that open loop control is carried out to achieve predetermined target current. The voltage between both the ends of a current detecting resistor connected to the ground side of the opening/closing element is input as a monitoring voltage from a current detecting amplifying circuit portion through a multichannel AD converter to CPU. When the error between the comparison target voltage corresponding to the target current and the monitoring voltage is above a first permissible error, CPU judges that there is an abnormality sign, and if the error is above a larger second permissible error, CPU judges that there is appearing abnormality. Accordingly, an abnormality sign of a semi-wire-breaking/semi-short-circuit state of the electrical load can be sensed, and abnormality notification can be carried out.

The microprocessor that cooperates with a program memory generates a control signal pulse train of a variable period and a variable duty. Filter characteristics are adjusted with a period of the control signal pulse trains CNTa and CNTb, and gain is adjusted with a pulse duty. Even if a comparison reference voltage of the analog adjustment circuit is a fixed value, it is possible to make virtual change and adjustment of a comparison reference voltage by adjusting a gain of the gain adjustment circuit. As a result, it is possible to provide an analog input signal processing circuit capable of individually adjusting input filter characteristics and input gain.
